Bedlam! A chaotic blend of Citra hops and Belgian yeast give this IPA aromas of summer fruits and a bright hop presence with a plush finish.

Thanks to TATURBO for bring this bottle back from Madison. Thanks Chris.

poured into tulip glass.

Appearance: brillant and clear medium golden yellow bodied beer with 2 fingers of soapy white head. decent lacing makes a thin coating on the glass.

Smell: yeasty, fruity, peppery, and spicy. Hops take a backseat to the belgian yeast notes in the nose. Hops smell of grapefruit, mandrin oranges, a hint of pine and tropical fruits. I even get a bubblegum note of sweetness from the hops. Great nose.

Taste: Mellow bitterness from this beer which really surprised me comparing the taste to the nose. Hops taste of grapefruit, tropical fruit, tropical fruit, grass, and oranges. The beer is moderately yeasty and peppery. The malts are mildy sweet with bready and caramel notes. Finishes with all these flavors balancing out nicely. No lingering bitterness in the finish from the hops.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer, but it on the lower end of the spectrum. Moderate carbonation also on the lower end of moderate. Super drinkable for 7.5%. Clean and smooth beer.

Overall: Its like a belgian zombie dust, but more focused on the belgian part of the beer and less focus on the hops. Great job Ale Asylum!

This beer is by far my favorite IPA it has great notes of hops and citrus without being too overpowering or heavy. There is no bad aftertaste and it has a good level of carbonation.

Billowy head and very cloudy. Aromas of pineapple, melon, fruity bubblegum, and mild yeast. Taste of hop, bitter fruit and mashed overripe bananas. Feel has a dry hop finish. Very dense yet clean. Nice balance of yeast and hop with mild malt undertone. I once tried having this after dinner and it's too filling. This is a meal in itself. Aroma is the winner here.

Tasty. Decent nose. Hoppy, but it's a Belgian so it doesn't finish like a regular IPA. Has a bit of a cask aftertaste.

Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and copper orange in color with a half finger, off-white head. Sub-par retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface. Not much for lacing aside from the odd spot or two.

Smell - Slight citrus and spice with a strong undertone of mango and green banana funk.

Taste - Follows the nose. Spice and green banana with a bit of citrus hoppiness. Light, slightly toasty and caramel malt undertone. Some nuttiness. Yeasty Belgian funk lingers in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a dry, slightly flat finish.

Overall - Decent, but a bit too 'Belgian' heavy for my liking. Not enough assertive hop bite.
