First beer I tried at Benelux and without a doubt, there best. very impressed to find such a superstar in the midst of average beers throughout Montreal. Not overpowering with hops, but extreme enough. Poured in a nice goblet and handled with care. Easy to consume.

A- Completely clear beautiful auburn dark copper, Head was nice, lasted about 5 minutes, but all that's left is fragile lacing and a patch in the center.
S- Smells great. Honey is first, then you can actually smell the bitterness. Some good depth to this one. Sweet and floral with caramel malt. Really delicious and a little mouth watering, I'd smell this all day.
T- So good. Like eating a hop bud without it killing your throat. Slightest woody aftertaste. Tastes really fresh. Starts with grapefruit to tropical fruit and pineapple and ending with wood pine. Not much bubblegum though. Supreme. Very sweet but absolutely not sickening. Licking my lips is like lemonade: sticky sweet and sour. Reminds me of sweet malty hops when I pull them out of the wort after homebrew boil.
M- Great mouthfeel. Sparkly and smooth, sticky but you could still say it's a little dry. Lively but sweet.
D- I'd drink this all night or day.
Not the best IIPA I ever had, but definitely one of the best. An IIPA example. Simply super.

Appearance - Orange/gold and slightly cloudy in a tulip. A nice pour in a "power rinsed" glass left a head that stuck around a while.
Smell -Grassy, with much citrus also.
Taste - A citric start with some floral grassiness. Sweetness follows closely giving way to a fairly long bitter finish. Well balanced.
Mouthfeel -Carbonation was moderate and a mildly viscous body.
Drinkability- Very good. A small sample inspired me to order a full-size one right away., and then yet another.
Comments- Cool place, nice beer.

A: Gold with a white head, good retention, excellent lacing.
S: Grapefruit, pine & a hay field!
T: Grapefruit, pine & grass with some sweet, toffee-like malt in the background. Good bitterness, but there's still a bit of residual sweetness. Alcohol is warming.
M: Moderately full body has some residual sweetness & a slight hop acidity. I'd prefer it a little drier.
D: Surprisingly drinkable for a brew this heavy & strong.

A - Partly cloudy reddish brown with some of big bubbled head which lasts. Not a lot of carbonation is visible.
S - Strong smell of caramel and sweet malts, not quite covered by the floral pungency of the hops. The smell is very malty compared to the taste. Alcohol smells emerge as the beer warms as well as more bready and grainy notes in the nose.
T - Very strong hop flavour and incredible bitterness follow the smooth entrance of some sweeter malts giving the taste of bread and biscuits. The finish is whip quick and very drying. The bitterness is sharp and lingers in your mouth. Tastes of hops emerge out of the bitterness more and more as the beer warms, giving impressions of pine needles and dried leaves.
M - Very drying due to the bitterness, rather rough and slightly thick and clingy.
D - This beer has considerable moreishness, but I could hardly drink it all night, too complex, and too strong. And even though I hate to admit it, maybe even a little too bitter.

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Very hoppy, strong bitterness, lots of lace, sweetish finish with caramel. A nicely done double IPA, and the best one of the lineu, which is served with good lower carbonation and only slightly cold. Hoppy aroma. A higher ABV apparently than their previous batches. Could be over 100 IBU.
