This place is easy to get to off of I-24. A large parking lot and big sign make it even easier to find (ie. this place is not a hole in the wall that you have to search for). Great beers from great breweries including a sizeable collection of high quality imports. Service was very helpful. I was looking for some wine too and they quickly pointed me in the right direction. The selection is very good. I hesitate to score it too high simply because they have different distribution than what I am used to seeing in Missouri. Here are a few of the brews they do have that MO does not: Stone, Dogfish Head, Brooklyn, Harpoon, Great Lakes, Three Floyds and Cliper City. Plus, they have local brews like Kentukcy Ale and Bluegrass. They also have 4 taps for growler fills - currently 90 Minute, Great Lakes Erie, Rogue Hazelnut Brown and Schlafly A IPA. This is a really nice store to check out.

Bumping up quality & customer service scores based on a 2nd visit

Stopped into this place on my way to North Carolina in very late November

The lay out of this place was pretty good, a bit too wine & booze-centric for my liking

My major gripe was I got several beers that seemed out of date or tired to me. None that I've had from them have truly wowed me

Great customer service, they were friendly & liked talking beer. However, they recommended several beers that seemed stale or sub par to me (many of them IPAs or Hop Harvest ales). I specifically stated I wanted stuff that was hoppy & fresh. They did give me a case-discount which was nice, because the were one of the priciest stores I've been in period

Great selection. Three Floyds, although nothing super rare-had most of these already. Loads of Founder Breakfast Stout & Backwoods Bastard still on the shelf, Decent selection of Stones, Brooklyn, DFH & several others. 4 different beers available for growler fill

As I stated very pricey. There was no way in hell I was paying $15-ish for a bomber of dread naught that is just insane...

I would hit this place again but would be way more discerning about what I buy from these guys next time & would probably hit a store or 2 in the area to baseline prices

I enjoyed what little bit of time I got to have in this store. I was running a very tight schedule on my little road trip from TN to MO but had heard so many things about this store. They had a great selection of big singles but not really any little ones. Also the prices were pretty fair especially on Dogfish Head. The staff was helpful and friendly and knew beer. The stocking was a bit unorganized and stuff was a little hard to find, Other than that awesome store. If I ever make it back that way I would like to give them and the other location a shot.

Man was i glad to find this place. It looked like a good liquor store from the front and i needed a beer. My wife and i had stopped in Paduka just to go to a brewpub and found out that it wasn't brewing anymore. A long day on the road, we needed some beer. The wife stayed in the car and i told her i would just be 5 minutes. Well, she started to get pretty worried...

I couldn't believe it. They had a banner proclaiming over 300 beers and i believe them. All the bier i could want, the only problem is it was damn pricey.

Belgians, Stone, German biers, DFH....I did NOT expect to fine 80 percent of these beers in Kentucky. It was great. Go to the bank.

Stopped by here on a recent road trip south and I was sure glad I did. Love the drive through access on the liquor stores in KY! Anyway, this is a big, open clean store with the beer basically centrally located in the middle. After looking around for a little while the main beer guy noticed me and chatted with me for awhile about beers and what they recently got in. He was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to!

There's a good selection here for the area with lots of Stone, Great Divide, Founders and more. They had the 4 packs of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale which is always nice to run across. Also, they still had both 07 and 08 Vertical Epics. Picked up the new Espresso Oak Aged Yeti while I was down here and you should be able to find the beer you desire by stopping by.

Prices were pretty much standard and I was quite impressed overall buy the selection they get in here. If you are making your way through Paducah anytime you will want to add this to your list of places to stop!

Made a little detour while in West TN for business so that I could drop in the store I have heard so much about. Real easy to find location. Walked in and was very impressed at first glance. Large store with wine to the left, beer straight ahead, and liquor to the right. Also lots of other misc glassware, books, food items, etc. Walked into the long row of beers and it was stuffed full. Beers sitting on the ground as well...not enough shelf space. Big selection of micros. Lots of Bells, New Holland, Goose Island, Clipper City, Stone, Anderson Valley and more. Seemed a little thin on imports. Decent German selection and most of the trappists (Chimay, Westmalle, Achel, and Rochefort). Saw some Dupont as well. Highlights were the GI fancy stuff (BCS, Matilda, Imperial IPA, Pere Jacques). Also picked up a few bottles of Avery 13 and 14 which was exciting. Service was not bad, but was not great either. Nobody offered help but they were all friendly when I was checking out and helped me with my stuff to the car. Prices were all very reasonable. Definitely worth a stop if you are within an hour or so, but I am not sure I will make a special trip from Nashville ever. They did not have much that I cant get in Bolwing Green.

After reading the glowing reviews on this store, I had to make it a point to swing by the next time I had an excuse to be in Paducah. I wasn't let down. Really impressive selection, probably the best in Kentucky other than the Liquor Barn locations in Lexington and Louisville. Quite a few limited edition bombers that I hadn't seen elsewhere. On learning I was a beer geek, the proprietor brought out from the back a boxed oak-aged Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, one of a release of only 500. Had to turn it down due to the price tag, but it was nice of them to make the effort. Overall, the prices seemed a bit higher than average, but the service and selection are worth it.

This is one amazing place. Drove 3 hours north to check this place out and I was NOT disappointed at all. Picked up a couple of bombers of Stone RIS ( may be common other places, but definitely not in TN) some Goose Island IPA from 06 and 07, DFH 120, along with a ton of other stuff. They were sold out of Bells Expedition when I went ,which was a bit of a letdown, but the guy there said he would have some around in two days. Yep, I'm going back to get some. Also had Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. Tons of different stuff. Every Belgian except Westie.

The best place to buy beer in western Kentucky, hands down. Stopped by on September 30, 2006, while in town for the Barbecue On The River festival. Plenty of Rogue, Stone, Sierra Nevada, New Holland, Brooklyn, Hebrew, New Holland, Arcadia, Avery, and a number of smaller micros, including Bluegrass Brewing and Lexington Brewing. They were having a pumpkin ale tasting later in the day. Excellent selection of Belgian, English, and German beers, as well. Got some good deals on Bear Republic and Freeminer brews in the closeout section. Staff was attentive and helpful. They discounted my large purchase, carefully packaged two large boxes, and carried it to my car. Prices are generally higher than the better stores in Lexington, and Louisville, but this store is really a pleasant place to visit.

Stopped by while passing through on the way to Florida.

This is a very nice place to pick up some good beer. Very clean and organized with Kane at your side to answer any questions or to make recommendations if asked.

The selection was impressive. They had DFH, Stone, Bell's, Avery, and Goose Island to name just a few. Belgians were plentiful as was a nice mix of Oktoberfest brews put together on their own display. My favorite bottle was a huge 3-liter-bottle of Stone Double Arrogant Bastard for $65. Sadly, my wife said no to that one.

Prices were reasonable and I stocked up for my vacation. And what a vacation it was!
