A: Clear, pale amber, with a small finger of head that vanished quickly.

S: The apricots are definitely there, up front an pleasant. Malted grain is distant in the background. There's not much else -- no depth/complexity to the aromas.

T: Mildly sweet malt, with mild, slightly tart apricot flavors. Maybe a little hops bitterness, but just enough to notice. Basically, it's pretty meek in the taste department, with no strong flavors, pleasant or otherwise.

M: Moist at first, with decent carbonation and crispness. The finish was rather dry.

O: A fruity version of the session beer, best drunk cold and quickly. It wasn't bad in the sense of unpleasant flavors, but it was just so bland. I wish the brewers would have had the guts to put some real apricot and beer flavor in it -- they might have had a much better product.

Not a big fan of Fruit / Vegetable beers however this one wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Out of the bottle the pour was nice and head was average, which quickly dissipated.

Appearance: was golden to almost amber and carbonation on the average side.

Smell: was pure apricot with a slight beer aroma in the background.

Taste: was apricots with a beer flavor. I expected it to be much sweeter than it actually was, which was refreshing to find.

Mouthfeel: was average and taste lingered like an ale should.

Overall it was a decent Fruit / Vegetable beer not my favorite and probably won't revisit anytime soon.

Scents of apricot. That's about all I picked up. Flavor is mostly of apricot, but an off sort of apricot, with a slight hint of malt. No bitterness, no wheat. Mouthfeel is light bodied with high carbonation. This combines with the flavor to make it drink a lot like a fruit soda. It's refreshing I suppose, but not really at all what a good fruit beer should taste like. The fruit is there, but it doesn't taste quite natural and the wheat is non-existent, though the bottle only calls it "Apricot" so maybe they changed something. It's nothing special, and fairly mediocre as far as fruit beers go.
