The only homebrew place in Hickory, so definitely the best! Its a great store for a local place, has had most of the malts and hops I'm looking for and many of the yeasts, or at least a substitute. If you're looking for a specific yeast (or hop or malt for that matter), you can give the store a call a week or so ahead of time and they can get it in for you. Advantage has had all the 'miscellaneous' stuff I've needed, like priming sugar, sanitizer, spices for wit, bottle caps, etc. I haven't tried out the wine side of the store as I don't homebrew wine. There's a malt mill in the back that they'll help you setup (if you need help). The owner's always willing to talk about whatever project you have going on.
