Went here a few times this week while visiting Pinedale. First off I think its pretty cool a town the size of Pindale has a brewpub. The pub is right on the main drag of in Pinedale, very cool sign made out of kegs outside caught my eye. The brewpub itself is a cozy little place with a nice little patio facing the main street in Pinedale. The bar is really cool they have all the major peaks of the Wind River range...the only bad thing is the wood either was not completely flat or warped cause the bartop itself is not completely flat so I bet a few beers have been spilled on it....but a very unique and cool look to the bar. The beer at Wind River was nothing great. Their darker beers the porter and stout were above average but the others were below average to average at best. I did not try any of the food their but the menu looked pretty good. Overall if you are in this part of WY and craving some microbrew Wind River is probably worth checking out...not many microbreweries in WY and you may find some beers you like here.

stopped by Wind River on my way to Jackson from Rock Springs - I've passed by here in the past, but on this occasion the timing was right for a late afternoon draft
the brewpub sits on the main street of a little drive-by town situated adjacent to western flank of the the awesome Wind River range, lots of traffic from people on their way to Jackson and various sportsmen and outdoors peeps taking advantage of the National Parks, fantastic views of the mountains from town
the brewpub is a comfortable, clean building with a decent porch that for whatever reason sits below the grade of the parking lot, inside is a moderately sized but open feeling dining room, plenty of wood and a fairly standard setup - something of a rustic outdoorsy feel, a tv or two with whatever game is on, the bar surface itself is awesome - hardwood etched with a profile view of the Wind River mountain range as seen from town, each peak identified
the selection is quality with something like 12 drafts at a time spanning a nice range of styles, though a few were out at the time of my visit, there is a list online - not sure how up-to-date that is kept, I went with the Strom Bomb Stout and was very pleased
service at the bar was fine, the bartender was friendly if not particularly knowledgeable about the beer
have had a burger and a brisket sandwich - both tasty after days out in the hills

This would be the local brewery closest to my hometown, and tonight was my first time in. Went for dinner and a few beers with mom and dad.
The overall atmosphere is of a decent brewpub witha lot of outdoors things related to climbing. Which shows the other side of Pinedale (mostly a town that celebrates its cowboy image).
The food and beers were both very high quality. I had a brisket sandwich that was tender, and the sauce was great. I had the porter and their "in the black" ale and both were well crafted beers. The porter was on par with Odell's Cutthroat Porter and definitely a beer I would revisit. The black ale was a fairly flavorful, but didn't quite stack up to the porter, I should have drank them in the opposite order. I had a few drinks of my Dad's Wyoming Pale which was a decently hoppy IPA. Still very good beers.
Service wasn't great, by no means were they busy, and our waitress was trying to play that card that she had too much going on. I wasn't impressed here.
They do have a wide variety of beers, from fruit wheat beers to stouts and an old ale. All good here.
Once again great food, and reasonable prices, for an apetizer, 4 pints, and 3 dinners I spent just over 60 bucks. Not bad for a Pinedale establishment.
Overall this is a nice place to go have a few beers, maybe a little loud inside, but not bad. My one main complaint is that their carbonation was a little high on all their beers, that couldve been dialed down a bit. If you're through Sublette County definitely stop in for a pint.

Stopped in after dinner on a Tuesday evening to try the local brew. It's a little bit of a walk from the Best western but not too bad. The entrance is set up kinda odd with the walk way being through the middle of the small parking lot. The patio which faces the highway has tables for outdoor dining. The area inside is smallish so when it is busy the noise becomes something close to annoying. The bar seats between 15 and 20, the tables allow about 40, there are televisions set to where almost eveyone can watch.
The service was pretty good (I sat at the bar) there was a bartender and bartendress controlling the taps and both were friendly like most of the locals in there.
Didn't have any food so I can't say.
With an 8 beer lineup I got a sampler. The lighter beers were fairly good. Medium brews being drinkable and the darker beers being the best.
If I were asked by someone that was passing through Pinedale if they should stop, I would tell them it is worth their time and money.
