English Pale Ale style beer. Similar to the bitter just a larger amount of the same malted barley is used. The hops we use in this beer are imported from England and added in generous amounts throughout the boil to create a complex hop profile. This slightly sweet beer finishes with a very refreshing hop presence.

Howler(1/2 Growler) purchased at Liquor Shed in Casper.

A- into my Samuel Smith pint glass it goes and...it pours a hazy orange gold, 1" head of foam, pretty good lacing.

S- it has kind of a fruity sweet nose up front, now I get a bit of hop bitterness, citrus, and some grainy notes.

T- malt forward, there's some caramel malt right off the bat, a wee bit of grain and earthy notes, the hops come forward and brings a mild bitterness that grows and finally dominates but again, it;s on the mild side. The whole flavour show is on the mild side with this brew.

M- medium body, with the carbonation a bit too low for my liking, I reckon the mouthfeel is okay.

O- an interesting and tasty brew, I find it good and drinkable. For folks looking for a in your face Pale Ale, look elsewhere; I like the subtleness this brings to the table.

Had this a while back at the brewery, the following is of notes I took.
A: Cloudy copper color, nice sized head and lacing
S: Sweet malt, earthy English style hops
T: Sweet malty/bready up front followed by earthy hop flavor
M: Medium bodied, good amount of carbonation, dry finish
O: Decent English style pale, didn't care for this my first few sips but it grew on me.

Pours a one finger off-white head over a birlliant light copper liquid. Gorgeous. A few streamers feed the head, which retains ok and leaves nice lacing. Smells floral hoppy with light-fruit esters. Hop aroma is lavendar and honey with light grassienss. Esters are pear, strawberry, and banana (not like wheat beer banana, more of a creamy banana).

Tastes malt sweet with hop flavor and a hop bitter that doesn't serve to balance as it should. Malt flavor is non-descript. Hop flavor is oranges, grassy, and woody. Esters are strawberry and pear. Hop bitterness is low and falls underneath an acidic astringency in the finish. The astringency dries it out leaving a grassy aftertaste.

Md thick and moderate carbonation. Just a bit too sweet for my preference and didn't care for the finish.
