Pours a rich amber hue backed up by ruby grapefruit high lites. There is a slight haze, perhaps nothing more then chill haze.
There was very little in way of foamy head during the pour, but a thick surface lacing was always present during the session,

There is a nice balance of aromas here between sweet caramel malts andlively citrus hops.

A good tasting beer here and as in the aromatics the taste is equally balanced.
Malts are sweet andhops have a lively citrus taste. In the finish you taste biscuits and malt husks.

A good solid medium body I'd say.
Beer starts out sweet and ends on a dry note.
Not much of an aftertaste.

Ba calls this an APA but the bottle states an amber, to me this drinks like an amber. Even though there is plenty of hop flavor the flavor is more akin to an amber. It's more restaint.
I like it and have no problem drinking it no matter what the hell it is.

I am a big fan of this brewer. He has the best speeches about brewing, and the love of it. I recommend looking him up on YouTube.

I had this on tap at Buffalo Wild Wings in a pint glass. The coloring on this beer is a darker yellow. The foam would be about two to three fingers, if the bartender didn't maximize the pour.

The nose and flavor on this ale is very drinkable. I like the bready malt on this one. There is even a little sweetness with this one.

I recommend trying this one out for it's clean drinkable experience.

Poured from a 12oz. bottle with no freshness info.

Appearance: A light orange-gold body reveals itself under a heavy 3-4 fingers worth of head. Looks fluffed, whipped and fairly insistent.

Smell: Caramel malt, biscuity, hints of peaches, good does of hops.

Taste: Doesn't quite live up to the aroma. Caramel, hint of hops, mineral-like and hints of peaches or mangoes. Fleeting flavor that doesn't quite latch on long enough.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied, mild bitterness but the finish is super clean and abrupt.

Overall: Good potential in the start but doesn't follow through. Average.

12 oz. bottle. Pours orange with a long lasting, thick white head. Aroma is of caramel, bready malt and citrusy hops. Body is medium and crisp. Citrusy, earthy hops, caramel and bready malt fill the mouth. Finish is long and hoppy. Nice session brew.

No date.

A: Almost zero head or lacing.

S: Faint herbal and spicy hops. Some yeast.

T: Bready, slightly sweet with a touch of butteriness (but not enough to be unpleasant). Floral hops are faint. There is a hint of something sour.

M: Decent.

O: A drinkable and inoffensive but unremarkable moderately-hopped pale ale.

Clear amber in the glass. Not a world-class head but a nice little sudsiness with the pour. Mouthfeel is fairly well carbonated.

A very pleasant hoppy flavor rises up. This is really the classic APA, in my opinion. Not trying to be an IPA but presenting a more hoppy flavor. This one just tastes like fresh hops, a little coarse, but aromatic and herbal. A great undertone of sweet malt that keeps emerging as you sip. Bitterness in the aftertaste give it a twang. If there was a factor for it, I'd give this a high score for balance. The malt is so pleasant, it just gives this a big drinkability quotient.

From the 12 oz bottle with the more stylish new black label with blue and white lettering. Bought at Food and Friends in Philadelphia.
