OK, so a belgian pilsner huh? And at 9.5% abv to boot.

Poured into my La Fin Du Monde glass a hazy straw color with a frothy two-finger head. Leaves plenty of sticky lacing as i drink. Bouquet is yeasty and floral with that familiar saaz pungency. Taste again is yeasty, floral and grassy; a bit of sweetness up front and a spicy, hoppy finish with just a touch of bitterness. Some subdued estery qualities. Yep, this taste like a pilsner, but the 9.5 is well hidden. Mouthfeel is medium and grainy with adequate carbonation. Easy enough to put a 750 of this down and still can't believe it's 9.5...

A different kind of Belgian; tasty and if you like pilsners you'll really like this one.

Pale blonde colour, 2 fingers of fluffy white head, some nice lace work as well. Smell is of lemony noble hops, citrusy and fruity, dry hops, touch of spice and toasty malt with a slight skunky note as well here. Taste is spicy with lots of hops, earthy and citrusy with bit of sweetness before a drying finish, quite bitter throughout, lemony and orange with just a biot of sweet toasted malts. This is pretty good but not as good as other belgian IPA's like Hoblun Chouffe or Charlevoix Lupulus, would drink again however.

Golden yellow color with a tall white head sitting on top. Lots of sediment in the pour, not sure if this is bottle conditioned or what.
Aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy. Aroma is vaque but smells dry and fruity.
Drinks softly and smooth and well hidden alcohol. Malts are in abundance but hopos are light and sport a fruity taste.
Finishes dry.
