Pretty cool pizza place inside, very colorful. The place always seems busy. Had a nice selection of craft beer. Well over 15. Pizza seems over priced but good.

What can I say, I love Mellow Mushroom and I miss them dearly living in the land of the deep dish pizza.

It's hard for me to comment on the beer selection as compared to the area. When I lived in Florida there was nothing like this. Places serving this assortment of beers simply didn't exist. When I lived in the area there was the (now-defunct) Hops that served shitty brewpub beer and even shittier food. But MM has a fine selection of drafts and bottles and if I still lived in the area, I'd be happy to have it available to me. From talking with the waitress it seems as if they try to keep one CCB brew on tap at all times (Maduro Brown was on tap during my visit). Does the beer list compare to the places here in Chicago. No, but I understand Brandon isn't Chicago, either. That said, I'd take a MM Kosmic Karma over an Uno's or Gino's East pizza any day.

Service is what is to be expected from a family friendly pizza restaurant. Beer knowledge isn't the greatest, but again, it wasn't expected.

I am a big fan of the MM pizza. Their crust has a yeasty, chewiness to it that any beer lover can appreciate.

One of the better draft selections in Brandon (admittedly, we aren't tripping on choices), if not the best.

Around 16 different beers on tap at any given time, with a variety of styles. An additional 4 dozen bottled brews round out the selection. The establishment has a good relationship with Cigar City, and frequently has one or more of their beers on draft.

They are increasing the number of tasting events -- recent events include a Stone Anniversary party, Left Hand/Terrapin collaboration night, and a Sierra Nevada anniversary event.

Anthony (GM), and the rest of the front-of-house staff are very friendly and helpful.

The pizza is very good for the style -- it's not Neapolitan, NY, or Chicago style...it's just...Mellow. Crust has a good texture, and they have a wide variety of toppings, including some very good vegetarian options. My family of 5 eats for around $40, plus tip, if I have 2 beers.

Took the family here last night. Been hearing so much about it, thought it was time to check it out.

Typical fun pizza place. Kid friendly dinning area, and a bar that's just right for the adults. Really nice selection of beer. 24 taps that included offerings such as, DFH 90, Magic Hat #9, Loose cannon, Smutteynose Robust Porter, and CCB Maduro. Good bottle selection as well.

The Pizza was very good. Many different, and unique, styles to choose from. The wait staff was very accomodating and friendly. We had a large pizza, some garlic bread, a couple Maduros, and a soft drink for the little one, and the bill came in around $35. I would like to go back again with my buddies to sample more beer and really see what the bartenders know. Will absolutely be coming back. Skal.

I'm so happy this place is close to my house. A great oasis in a sea of crap in Brandon and all of eastern Hillsborough county. We always sit at the bar and get excellent service. The servers at the tables are hit and miss. They are more than willing to pour draft samples if you're not sure. Bartenders always know what's new and share what they know about it.

Always a great selection of craft brews on tap. Happy hour from 3-7 everyday with $2 off drafts. Very knowledgable bartenders and a friendly staff. General Manager Anthony is a big hop beer lover. If he's not tossing pizza, he's at the bar throwing some back after his shift. Owner Rob seems to be always there and great to talk to.

Great place and great beer but we love it for the people that show up and the vibe this place puts off. The food is very good too but we've been going more for beer than food lately. Try a warm cookie with a Left Hand Milk Stout. Tasty.

A: Your basic pizza shop, but has a wonderful assortment of great brews that rotate frequently.

Q: Great quality in both food and beer.

S: If you sit at the bar you receive great service from a bartender that has a pretty good knowledge of the beers they are serving.

S: Great selection in both food and drink. Has the best selection of beer in the Brandon area with some of the best pizza.

F: I love their pizza, and during lunch you can get it by the slice for CHEAP!!!

V: Great. I had a Hopslam, 90 Min IPA, and a huge slice of pizza for under $20 with tip. WOW!

Overall: In my opinion the best spot in Brandon. They get the best beers avaliable in the area and rotate them in and out. The get the greats like 120, 90 min, and Hopslam, most of which on draft. The service is good, food is great, what more can you ask for. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you will be glad you did.

My buddy and I came here, as referred to us by BeerAdvocate. Great service. Good food. Good beer. It is located in a shopping plaza near the shoreway and is in a strip mall on the south side of the highway.

We sat inside and looked at all of they had available on draught, looks to be over 20 plus bottles.

Pizzas were really good too. They made some unique kinds, so we tried those. We had a bbq pizza and a white sauce with artichokes. Both really good choices.

Dogfish 90 minute on draught - excellent choice to have with any pizza slice.

Brandon. Now this is a great pizza place, and a better beer bar. Very nice selection of taps and bottles. Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA and [!] 90 minute IPA on tap as well. They even had several other IPA's available. Just right for a hop head like me! One of the best additions was a helpful and knowledgeable server. Mellow has a beer school that they have their servers attend. I think this is Great! Even better, our server asked us is we had heard about another Dogfish Head IPA. I couldn't believe my ears. they had 120 minute in bottles [rather pricey, but hey NO worse than a bottle of wine] Man i was so glad to get to try that, and never would have thought to ask. Our server said that once a week all the servers try either a new beer, or something different, and discus it. Excellent! They have a great selection of gourmet pizzas and calzones. I had a very tasty calzone.
This is a great place, and every time I'm in Brandon, I'm going to spend some time here.

I have had great luck at this location. They have 22 Taps I believe, and here is what I remember them carrying:
Seadog Blueberry
2 Shipyards
1 or two Rogues
3 DFH 60 and 90 IPA and Aprihop
Both tasted really good once the got below arctic temperature. Similar tasting to bottles but fresher?
Honey Blossum Pilsner
Albita turbo (?)
Hazed and Infused
Never Winter
Guinness
Harp
Anchor Steam
This is the second best selection on tap in Riverview behind MJ barleyhoppers. The food here is pretty good I've had a couple of pizzas. Their pretzels (freshly baked) are a nice appetizer too.
