Pours a hazy gold with a notable pinkish tint. White head is thin and retains as a lacing.
Fruity sweetness over a honey and citrus malt.
Flavor is fruity, cherries and passionfruit, with honey and coriander and a hint of booze.
Medium body with a tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth and some mild alcohol warmth.
An interesting fruit-infused brew, works really well and is refreshing and masks its strength well. Probably not for everyone, but I would have it again.

Poured into a tulip.
4.0 A: Murky peach amber color. Frothy off-white head with good retention for the ABV and some whisps of lacing.
4.25 S: The tripel and the fruits blend very well together. Lots of corriander with clove and pepper spice underneath. The cherry, raspberry, and passion fruit are potent enough to matter, but still let the tripel through. Wheaty hay and apple from the base beer. Fairly simple, but powerful and well balanced, especially for a fruit beer. Alcohol is well hidden.
3.75 T: Taste is like the nose. Pleasant tripel flavors meet a triad of fruitiness. Strong corriander with clove and pepper undertones. Apple and peach fruitiness from the tripel. Hay and grassy earthiness. The cherry, raspberry, and passion fruit are strong enough to not have a watered down taste. Quite nice.
4.0 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately spritzy and supremely smooth. Good here. Booze isn't noticeable at all.
4.0 D: Another winner from Voodoo. All they seem to make is great beer.

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a Koningshoeven chalice. The bottle is oddly lumpy, as if blown incorrectly.
A: Light white head tops an auburn-clear body.
S: Strongly floral. At a distance, yeasty. Up close, cherry cough syrup. A touch of raspberry is evident, but buried by the cloying cherry sweetness. I have mixed feelings.
T/M: Mmmm. The raspberry is extra strong here, offering a welcome burst of tart fruit, complemented by the tropicality of the presumed passionfruit. Still, the cherry is unwelcome and unwholesome, lending a cloying medicinal quality to the whole affair. Spice is apparent, and the beer is light and scintillating. Aftertaste is slightly sticky, urging me to take another raspberry-filled sip.
O: An interesting, worthwhile beer, but somewhat lackluster. Would recommend and have again, but neither with any great enthusiasm.

Poured into an oversized tulip.
Pours a hazy amber colored brew with a bright white head that fades to a thin cover.
Smells of fruit - cherries, raspberries and passion fruit - as advertised.
Tastes of cherries, raspberries and passion fruit. Can also taste some candied malt as well as a faint hop finish that is dry.
Medium mouthfeel. Active carbonation.
An interesting take on the style. I will seek out other brews from Voodoo since I appreciate brews that try to craft an original signature on a tried-and-true style - the tripel is one of my favorites too. At first glance, I thought this was going to have some habanero pepper in it - which would have been cool, but as it stands this is worth a shot. It is somewhat caught in-between a traditional tripel and a fruit brew. The marriage of the two is happy enough though to enjoy the ride.
