Pours a dull dark brown color with a thin head that soon fades into a wispy lace. Nose is matly with a bit of floral hops in the background. Taste begins with roasted malt followed by some fresh coffee and spicy hops. In fact, the hops become an even bigger player as the beer warms. This was an unusual porter.

Pours a dark heavy brown with a tan head that doesn't last too long. Faint aroma but roasty and with some light but noticeable hops.
Taste is dry, roasted barley, brown malt, black coffee flavors. Not a lot of sweetness (as it should be). As it is dry hopped, there is a certain bitter "imperial" element to it shared with some Imperial stouts. I don't know the ABV but it doesn't seem to be too high.
Mouthfeel is light, easy to drink. Not outstanding, a bit uncharacteristic, but a solid mid-range porter that's good for a session or two.
