Poured from the bottle into a Chimay goblet.

The beer pours a cloudy ruby red color with a small layer of off white head that fades away quickly. The color is quite nice. The nose is full of raspberries with some lambic funk and a strong oak presence. The flavor follows from the smell, but the raspberry fades towards the end of the sip leaving you with oak and a lemony tartness. The mouthfeel is on the thick side with lots of smooth carbonation and an extremely dry finish. This is a very nice lambic. My only complaint is that the fruit goes away a bit too quickly.

12.7 oz green capped bottle at fridge temp poured into a snifter.

Pours out a very deep reddish pink color, pretty much opaque, a nice white, light pink colored head quickly fades to a ring. Lace is real quick to fall back into the beer.

Fresh raspberries blends with a nice rotted wood, lactic funk character

Again, sugary raspberries, raspberry seeds, lemon citrus acidity, some horsey Brett and a touch of lactic funk, maybe even a touch of wine.

Light bodied with a pretty good bright sourness that lingers on the palate.

A really nice framboise, maybe not quite as complex as some of the bigger lambic makers, but still a nice treat. Look forward to trying the other versions.

A: This poured an opaque cherry red, with quickly dissipating white head.
S: It smelled like very tart raspberry, with some funky oak and acidic metallic hops and wild yeast and candi sugar.
T: It tasted like sweet and tart raspberry, with funky oak and musty vinegar and metallic hops. It had a clean and complex aftertaste that was tart and sour and funky.
M: It was watery with lots of carbonation. Lively body.
D: This was a very nice raspberry lambic. The scent and taste had a great balance of sweet fruit and sour funk. The body was appropriate, but the finish was really intense, so it must be sipped. Could age for a long time, but pretty enjoyable fresh. Sold brew.

A: The beer is hazy pale red in color. It poured with a thin pink colored head that hardly died down.
S: Strong aromas of funk are present in the nose that are like smelling salts to your nostrils.
T: Like the smell, the taste is both sour and funky and has notes of raspberries without any associated sweetness.
M: It feels light-bodied and rather tart on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very bold amount of funk; the nose is akin to a gueuze. I liked this one because the fruit made the taste a little more palatable but wasn't sweet.

A: Pours a murky ruby red in color with some amber highlights and minimal amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall creamy pinkish white head that redues to a mottled thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of funkiness along with moderate aromas of tartness, raspberry, and just a hint of oak.

T: This beer is not sweet like many of the others in the fruit lambic style which I really appreciate, there is a light to moderate amount of raspberry with pretty strong flavors of tartness and funkiness. There are some light notes of oak and hints of vanilla as well.

M: Light to medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Some moderate amounts of acidic prickliness and just a touch of dryness in the finish.

O: I love how the tart funkiness in the aroma of this beer continues to intensify as the beer warms. I really enjoy the fact that this one is not sweet and has no natural or artificial sweeteners added. This one is kind of intense, similar to a gueze, so if you do not like those you might want to avoid this one. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to trying some of it's sibling offerings.

Pulled the trigger on this as the price wasn't as extravagant as I have seen it; thanks again RSVP in Maine for awesome deals!

A- A very deep, dark ruby red with a small thin pink head, looks good, but we're rating what is supposed to be an attempt at a lambic, so looks way too muddled for a higher rating.

S- Funky fresh overripe raspberry with some lambic funk in the background.

T-Musty funk shines through before the raspberry for me; raspberry isn't quite as bright as it was in the nose. Some weird plastic like funk on the finish is what keeps the taste score from going higher for me

M- a little thin and could use some more carbonation,

O- For the price, even with it being cheaper than usual, I should've just stuck with the go-to Belgians, but it was definitely worth a try. Had the spontankriek and this blew that out of the water. Worth a one time buy
