This recipe, as the name indicates, was made to pair with Asian food.
Amber color with a good head with medium retention. A bit hazy and leaving marks in the glass.
Aroma of malt and herbs with noticeable hints of lemongrass.
Similarly, sweet malty taste spiced with herbs and citric touches giving a zesty flavor. Lemongrass and honey are also very present.
Light body with good carbonation.
Good balance, refreshing and flavorful beer. I definitely can see this going great with spicy food and Asian. A decree should be made obliging all Asian restaurants to have this recipe readily available.

Oh, here we go. Mikkel with another of his experiments in a bottle. This one designed to pair well with Asian food.
Pours a rich, deep amber colour with steady bead feeding a very nice head, a few fingers thick with nice pockmarking on the top. Decent lace. Not sure about the colour for Asian food, but looks pretty nice anyway.
Smells quite tangy. Lot of lemongrass on there, developing an almost citric hop note. Plenty of nutty malt as well: quite a lot of toffee, peanut brittle, and a mild spice on the back. Not bad, but a bit sweet for my liking.
Taste is quite decent, but a bit bland. Starts malty and sweet with an increment of malty character: caramel, toffee and hints of peanut. Midway through it switches to spice, with mild lemongrass and just a tickle of peppery heat at the back. Quite a nice balance, achieved primarily by not going overboard with the flavours. Not bad.
A bit thin in the middle but on the edges, there's some body. Fairly smooth.
As for the question of how it matches with Asian food, well I drank this with a Thai curry and it was alright. It's complementary rather than contrasting or cutting, but yeah it's quite drinkable and not a bad pairing.

A- Dark gold to copper, decent head and nice laceing
S - Pale malt, slight spice, citrus hops, lemongrass
T - A bit of what was in the smell but subdued, crisp clean but a bit bland.
M - Nicely carbonated, and good medium light body which goes down great.
O - very good pilsner which goes well with food as Mikkeller suggest. I do wish the Lemongrass adn spice came through better in the taste though.

Another Mikkeller brew that i am just discovering,it is called Dim Sum beer and it has a pretty catchy label which is grey and red and has a photo of an asian city with some asian patterns and writing on there aswell and the spiel on the label says "Brewed especially for asian food by Mikkeller with Lemongrass and Corriander" and it really has nothing else about it apart from that so anyway it pours a light see thru amber hue with decent carbonation that leaves a creamy two finger head that slowly subsides to a lather of froth and some resinous lacing here and there,on the aroma i was definately expecting the corriander to dominate but much to my liking it doesnt and is perfectly hidden in the background with lemongrass and redgum honey malts upfront, the taste is very similar to the aroma with hints of lemongrass, redgum honey,a touch of corriander and it finishes with a pleasant stonefruit tinge on the tounge that is neither bitter nor sweet and the mouthfeel is perfectly carbonated and smooth and could easily see myself drinking a few of these brews with some nice spicy asian food or even a hot curry or to be honest just on its own, overall another Mikkeller brew that i will buy again.
