Poured a deep copper hue with a one and a half finger frothy white head. There was good retention and very good sticky lacing.
The smell featured a full herbal hop and soft grainy malt.
The taste consisted of a fullvherbal hop spice with a moderate malt.
The mouthfeel was typical of the style with a lingering bitterness.
Overall a very tasty and quaffable pale ale.

A: Hazy amber with a very big and hard off-white head that stays around for quite a while.
S: Lots and lots of grapefruits and citric notes. Powerful hoppy character, but it is slightly one-sided due to the emphasis on grapefruit and citric notes. Some notes of grass and caramel malts.
T: Again, lots of grapefruit and lemon-peel that seems to cover the hole mouth with a layer of hop flavors. Some oily hop notes and quite a lot of grass as well. Nice sweetness in this one. Every now and then I pick up a taste of yeast. The finish has a long bitterness to it and more hops. A hint of alcohol. Despite the prominent hop character, the flavor is quite balanced.
M: Medium body with a nice sticky texture.
D: Another fine beer from Mikkeller. Very hoppy and refreshing. I enjoyed it from start to finish.
