Pours a black sludge with a small light brown head, fades at a decent rate, no light gets through this pour, .

Smell is full of roasted malt, getting notes of coffee but likely sitting on this bottle for the past year or so has had a dwindling effect on the coffee presence, slight hint of dark bitter chocolate.

Taste is strong on the burnt roasted malt, coffee is also a heavy factor, more so than the aroma, but it also lends more of that burnt bitter aftertaste that is already overwhelming, dark chocolate that lays another foundation of bitterness, very thick and creamy mouthfeel, carbonation is active yet remains soft enough so as not to disturb the creaminess, the heat is well hidden until you realize the back of your tongue is starting to lose sensation and your tummy is warming up.
