A: Orange and brown in color with a cream colred head. Head is thick and pours at least a couple of fingers. Head lingers well - still has a top 30+ minutes after pour and thick lacing on the glass walls.
S: Over the top grass and pine hops. It catches you off guard up front but is a really nice twist on the aroma.
T: Good quality hop flavor - again grassy, earthy hops forward, with a bit of a malt balance on the back.
M: Medium body but really nice on the tongue - ample carbonation.
O: Really well done. Hope to find this one again. Would love to have really, really fresh but suspect this at least a couple of months old by the time it reached the states.

Green Gold.
Poured a huge 2-3 finger of creamy tan head, impressive retention and lacing on this. The colour is a a hazy coppery brown, pretty dark for the style, with some obvious unfiltered yeast. 4
S - a huge kick of juicy pungent grapefruit citrus hops, fresh pine needles, an underlying almond nuttiness. Rosemary herbal oiliness, lemon, some farmy yeast under the hops, really intense and so much going on. 4.5
T- caramel malts, juicy grapefruit, bread, orange peel and sweet netarine, overall the hop bitterness is forefront but not overwhelming with a lot of malt presence to back it up. 4
M- a big body with such a smooth carbonation, bitterness prickle on the finish. Amazingly tasty and refreshing, the finish is dry and straight hops. 4
O - 4.25 A really solid, well-made IPA. Balance is quite good, a strong contribution of caramel malt adds some sweet nuttiness. It isn't the hoppiest of IPAs but a very flavourful and complex beer, that is really enjoyable.

Pours a dark amber with a lingering one inch head.
A whole lot of chunky sediment with this one. Looks well carbonated and it keeps the sediment moving. I've watched it for a minute now. It's like a beer lava lamp.
Moving on. The nose is great. Strong malt and hops aroma. Difficult to identify individual scents but some slight citrus is certainly there.
There's a lot going on with the flavor. It's chewy and tastes like a Dead Guy mixed with the leftovers from dry hopping. Points for a unique flavor but the hops make it far too bitter. It's very heavy handed on the taste buds, harsh at first but the finish is earthy and actually sort of tart - maybe grapefruit?
I can't figure this one out. Don't think I'd buy it again but I certainly would recommend trying it once.
