Bomber into a snifter. Pours solid black with a thick and tight brown head. The aroma is complex malts with a touch of sour stout. The flavor is quite complex. There is a bit of dark fruit and sour cherries that is followed immediately by roasted malts, coffee, and a dash of vanilla. This has opened my eyes on stouts... This isn't a stout - this is a light imperial stout!
