They have a limited selection of micros that seems to gain every month. They are gaining in European beers with a couple of Belgians. They do have mix a six that used to be good priced but went up to $9.99. Most everything is sold cold in 6's, few bombers, and cold/warm 12 packs. The store is clean and currently the best place in Burlington to buy beer. Staff is very helpful and willing to listen about other beers available in Iowa but not is this store. If you check there often enough you can score great things for Iowa, like Bigfoot!!

Overall I would say this store is coming along and is the best in SE Iowa.

Living in Burlington, this is the only place one can find this large of a selection of quality and craft beer. I moved to Burlington nearly 3 years ago from the Detroit area and I was very pleasantly suprised with their selection. Yes, I've seen better in larger metropolitan areas...but for a town of almost 30k people, they don't do all that bad.

The downside is that most of the delicate European lagers & pilsners (ones brewed & imported from Europe) usually are a bit skunky either due to the standard grocery store florescent lighting or may have not moved off the shelf in some time due to the local tastes. However, I've never had a problem with any ales or lagers brewed in the continental US.

Best bet in Burlington though, they could improve by learning more about storage however. (They once carried Chimay for a brief time, however, they kept it chilled and under florescent lighting, big no-no for a bottle conditioned Belgian.)
