Slightly cloudy pink colour with a light pink head. Good head retention.

Somewhat tart and quite fruity. Almost berry notes. Nice.

Tart and funky. Nice lactic. Tons of fruit and some beet root.

Light and fizzy. Very refreshing.

A delightful summer beer. Great.

From notes, also noting I detest beetroot... no pun intended

Pours a hazy deep pink, with a lovely fine white head. The fact it has little lace is the only thing that stops me awarding a 5.

Aromas are of funk and zest.

Taste is sweet for an instant, then sour, subtle, sharp and zestily refreshing. I have not eaten beetroot through choice for years but nothing in the palate reminds me of anything I do not like.

Body is well carbonated and light. Gives the burps, tho...

Overall, a great session ale, even the burps subsided by the end.
