Crystal clear, light copper colour with a smooth, foamy white head. Good head retention.

Light malty aroma. A spicy, earthy hop character is good. Light overall but acceptable.

Smooth malty flavour with a nice undercurrent of bitterness. Not much hop flavour but what there is is earthy. Good.

Moderately-light body with a moderately-dry finish. Low carbonation as suits a cask ale.

An eminently drinkable beer. Not my go to but decent none-the-less.

Pours a light amber, lagery appearance, but with not much carbonation, or at least it's slow. Thin layer of marshmallowy head.

Bitter, slightly rich but not overwhelming hops on nose. Hint of something more rich, coffee or something, just a rich earthy bitterness I guess. Quite English. Oh, I'm going to say rich again, just for good measure.

Bitter and hoppy throughout palate, with a slight unpleasant yeast hit at the front palate that lingers a bit like the smell of rancid cabbage. Bitterness is a bit one-note but otherwise good. It's certainly flavoursome, I'll give that to it. Mouthfeel is quite smooth, fairly full, not too bad. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan but it's decent.

Very fine, thick, languous carbonation through a golden amber body. Very fine head of white meringuey foam. Looks like there's a haze in the body, but it's just those little bubbles roaming their way gently to the top.

Lightly fruity hops on the nose. Hints of tropical fruits. Also a hint of caramel or malt sweetness backing it up.

Taste is quite strongly hoppy and bitter, with a long fragrant flavour through the palate. Long, yeasty flavour, which doesn't detract, but just adds a pleasant dryness to the end of the beer. The mouthfeel is wonderful from the cask; beautifully silky and creamy.

Very, very nice. This one is an awesome package for a beer that seemingly weighs in at under 4% ABV. Supremely drinkable.

Drank a $4.20 half-pint at the Wig & Pen.
Poured a clear, pale amber. No head, of course, but looked the part nonetheless.
Not impressed with the nose. Some slight sulfur, fleshy yeast notes in there that didn't appeal.
Tasted good, though. Great malt & grain flavours with well-balanced Fuggle flavour. Some apricot notes, and not terribly bitter.
Mouthfeel was quite light, not cloying, and easy to consume in large quantities, methinks. And with ABV of 3.8%, just the drink to do this with.

Pale golden yellow in colour, with cute yeast floaties. Thick white foamy head, that clung to the glass the whole way down.
Aroma: Yeast, hop, hop, hop, and malt. Did I mention the hop? Really intense, resiny, yummo.
Flavour: This beer rocks! A slight malt background is there, but over the top of it all is hop. A big resiny hop flavour, but balanced so that your tongue doesn't burn. Intense, with a soft cask carbonation, and a lingering hop back palate.
