I thought I had discovered an awesome new brewery named Issaquah, but as it turns out it's a Rogue beer... I'm not surprised, because this was delicious. Hazy orange, creamy head, smells like citrus (very orange) hops and spicy rye, delightfully hoppy, a little bit sweet, but a rich and spicy taste because of the rye. I found this beer original and stunningly delicious, a really nice twist on the standard IPA.

Listed as Rogue Frog Rye, on tap at Kite and Key.
Pours a hazy orange color with amber highlights, thin, bone white head, minimal retention and lacing. Smell is big spicy earthy rye with a a floral and citrus hop blend. Taste follows scent with a huge earhty and spicy rye backbone fronted with a big citrus and floral hop presence. Earhty and bitter finish. Somewhat grainy mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, slight aftertaste. Big rye presnce masks the hops a little too much, and the rough, earhy flavors could have used a little more sweetness to offset.
