A - Cloudy brown with a huge, solid head.

S - Nose rich, fruity and a little bit toasty. Some grapefruit and light peaches and a hint of pine.

T - Big flavours with good balance. Aggressive hopping in a long, bitter finish. Lots of roasted bitterness as well. Dryer that expected with a herbal touch, and not as much citrus.

M - Solid medium body leaning towards heaviness.

D - Big, roasty, hoppy brew. Not something i would drink a lot of at once, but very tasty and well balanced.

The beer pours a murky reddish/ burnt orange color with a frothy. thick, offwhite head. It smells like a caramel candy covered in milk chocolate with just a hint of citrusy hops in the background. The taste is more about the hops than the malt. I detected a good amount of grapefruit and orange peel up front with some caramel malt in the middle and a nice bitter finish. It has a medium body with moderate carbonation and a slightly dry finish. I liked this beer and would drink it again but thought the flavor could of been more balanced with the malt and hops, the malt really took a backseat in the taste test.
