Pours a hazy gold, sort of orangish with a yellowed white head, very foamy and thick, lacing the glass all the way down. Aroma is sweet citrus, tangerine, a touch of brown sugar from the malts, very light for an IPA. Taste is sort of sweet, then nicely bitter, very balanced like a lot of Sierra Nevada brews. Leaves a light but apparent bitter aftertaste behind, mostly from the hop oils.

A solid brew.

A- Pours a cloudy, deep gold with a creamy off-white head. Head retention is excellent, and so is the lacing.

S- The hops offer Pine and slight floral notes. There is also a touch of tropical fruit. The malt shows a little bit, with nuances of caramel and baked bread.

T- More malt forward on the palate than the aroma would allow me to believe. It starts off semi-sweet with caramel and citrus and moves into a grapefruit rind bitterness mid-palate. The finish is long with a sharp, aggressive hop bitterness.

M- Creamy, medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

O- Not bad, actually, quite good.
