Poured from a bomber bottle into a pint glass. Rich gold color, with almost no head, and only a few carbonated bubbles. Faint scents of some green apples and grapes. Sweet malty and hop like flavor you would expect from a malt liquor. Some minor notes of hay or freshly cut grass. No real spices to speak of. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth. This is overall very drinkable. I don't want to slam the brew but in a taste test I don't think I could taste the difference between it and Ol E 800. I am somewhat disappointed.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a thin white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sweet malts are present in the nose along with notes of fruity yeast. Sweet corn becomes stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has flavors of yeast along with notes of corn and bits of malty sweetness. No hops are noticeable.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: While this beer isn't very interesting, it doesn't have any offensive aromas of flavors and hides its alcohol very well.

A: Pours a hazy deep golden yellow in color with some light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation with some hints of copper highlights. The beer has a half finger tall sudsy off-white head that reduces rather quickly a large patch of extremely thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of sweet grainy malts and fruity (white grape, peach, and apple) yeasts.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of sweet grainy malts with a light amount corn adjunct sweetness. There are some moderate flavors of fruity yeast including white grape, peach, and apple cider.

M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

O: For the style (Malt Liquor), this beer is fairly easy to drink an better than most others that are available. Unfortunately, I think that Rogue stopped making this one and there are just not many craft Malt Liquors available in the areas I have lived.
