22 oz. brown bottle with no dates.

Clear light straw in color with a small, dense, white cap. Minimal lacing.

Fruity, caramel tinged malts take the show in the nose, with slight husk and grain notes in the background.

Medium light bodied with a nice carbonation. Rich caramel malt flavors are the dominate characteristic. In the finish the hops come out, but never go past balancing.

A tasty beer to be sure, but not my glass of Pilsner.

A: Pours a bright golden amber with a creamy, compact white head that laces deep into the glass. Out of the bottle, this lager displays a slight hint of haze that is far from unappealing.

S: Sweet and a touch maltier than expected on the nose. Aromas of caramel, straw, grass, herbs, and honey are very apparent.

T: Opens oddly sweet with notes of honey, straw, hay, grass, cream, minerals, caramel, and herbs. The finish is fleeting and rather sweet with notes of honey, caramel, and grass being dominant.

M: This is where I have to knock off major points. Despite being medium to full bodied for the style, this beer is flabby, slick, and gritty in the mouth. It does not feel like any kind of pilsner I've ever tried.

O: I find this lager to be quite lacking and do not see myself revisiting it, though part of me hopes I got a bad bottle. Perhaps Rogue just doesn't do lagers all that well (that's my opinion at least). A surprisingly underwhelming effort from a consistent brewery.

I had this on tap at Market Cross Pub and brewery served in an Imperial pint at the Rogue tap takeover.

A very beautiful clear straw golden with thick cap of white the lace rings the glass. The aroma while very mild, has a nice malt scent with subtle noble hop odors and slightly floral hints with a mild lemony accent. The feel is light in body which is good with a slight spice and resin of hops with high carbonation and slight sweet nutty tinge with semi-dry bitter finish.

The taste has crisp mellow malt w/ light bitter hop which has an herbal quality and there is a mellow fruitiness from the yeast. The flavor is very clean and the hops give a low spice flavor which fits the style with some mild floral qualities and the mostly dry malt gives a enjoyable clean effect as it finishes on the dry side. I really liked this, definitely better than most pils, I wish more craft brewers would attempt the style since Rogue does a decent job with this, very quaffable.

22oz bottle, served in a pilsner glass.

A - clouded, golden yellow color with a big fluffy white head that took a while to settle down, leaving lots of lacing on the glass.

S - some citrus/hop aromas, some malty aromas, some yeast/wheat aromas.

T - well balanced flavor with a dry, crisp finish.

M - crisp and light.

D - excellent drinkabilty.

A-Chill hazed golden color..

S-Sweet maltiness...almost maibock like as it has some breadiness...if anything some earthy hop notes but very light...very impressive sweet malt aroma though..

T-Not as sweet as the aroma leads you to think...I'm not real familiar with sterling hops which are used in this...I'm getting a firm, tight bitterness with some underlying earthy notes...

M-Medium bodied...lacks snappiness...more of a maibock feel to the body...

D-Interesting pilsner take...I like it.

Pours a very nice light straw color with some good head and nice lacing. Nice clean, crisp scent, slightly sweet with a hint of spice. Excellent taste, a well done pils; clean malt taste with a slight pepper taste and a very clean finish. Goes down very well. One of the best pilseners I've had.

This beer poured a beautiful golden/yellow color with a nice white head that did not last long. The aroma was grassy and a lemony citrus smell. The flavor was also of citrus and grain with some balanced hop bitterness. This beer had a good mouthfeel with proper carbonation. This was drinkable and I enjoyed it.

Rogue Überfest Pilsner is a cloudy, blonde lager with a fluffy white head that leaves great lacing. It has a grassy, lemony aroma with notes of bread and malt. It has a medium-light body. It's smooth with a crisp finish. It is simple, amply bitter, has good balance and tastes a bit lemony. It's a little plain, but the Sterling hops are unique. Not bad.

A: Poured a slight hazy, dull gold with orange highlights accompanied by a compact Styrofoam white capping.

S: light citrus, fresh grains, spicy oranges as well a light fruitiness.

T: The initial flavor yielded light fresh citrus that was spicy yet crisp in nature. A mild malt sweetness add some depth and maltiness to the palate. The beer finishes with a slight dry touch of grains and with a light lemon hop bitterness on the fade.

M: light-medium fullness, but fairly big per style with a nice graininess and hop bitterness on the swallow.

D: Really enjoyed this, very smooth in texture and drinkable. Fairly maltly and spicy hopwise per style which makes this a tasty treat.

Poured from 22oz into 19oz pilsner

Appearance: Golden and kind of cloudy with a small white head that leaves a lot of lace.

Smell: Sweet and citrusy, smells like oranges and lemons.

Taste: Much maltier sweetness than originally expected, then tastes of citrus (orange peel?). Also has a good hop spice toward the end and an interesting tea-like flavor that seems to be common among Rogue's beers.

Moutfeel: Surprisingly heavier body than most pilsners- medium body. Lots of carbonation but not too much. Crisp finish.

Drinkability: Rogue has not let me down yet- this is another great beer in their extensive range.

22 oz bottle.... poured a beautiful pale gold into a pint glass... a little cloudy and some sediment swimming around... head was a beautiful cloudy foam, 3 inches... it faded quickly and left a nice sticky lacing

smell of flowers, buttergrass, and lemon.. something else sweet and malty

maltier than i anticipated, citrus present, a bready tartness paused a full second before fading in and out.. well carbonated and medium bodied, its a bit thicker than i imagined it would be too but still crisp in its own way.. yummy

this is more like an ale with pilsner character than vice versa, its very drinkable though .. its just not what you want when you're looking for a traditional pils... drink this when your european friends are on your nerves and anything they say or have a nationalistic pride about annoys you but you are at a beer garden watching the world cup game and there's a cute girl speaking some germanic language at the bar so you feel the need to assimilate and order something with the word 'uber', 'fest' or 'pils' in it

Pours a 1/2 finger head with a cloudy yellow/orange color.

Apple and somewhat perfumy hops make for a magnificiently seductive aroma. Fruitiness is superb with green apple and a little bit of grapefruit. Very unique for a lger beer to have such sweet fruity and floral notes.

Nice sweet pale malt sweetness with some grapefruit notes and a clean hop bitterness. Grapefruit seems to be a little abundant in this beer, but it works.

Crisp mouthfeel with a slight tartness from the grapefruity overtones.

Overall, this is a very decent beer with a lot of grapefruit tones going on. It is a good summertime beer that I could make a session out of.
