Nice clear light goldy yellow with a fluffy white cap.

Subtly sweet pale and lemon grass. Nice spicy-herbal noble hop balance to crackery malts. Medium bodied with a nice and soft carbonation, dry and crisp, nice drinkability.

Real nice offering, wouldn't mind this one anytime.

Pours clear golden beer with excellent white head, lingering for a very long time and leaving lots of laces. Nicve floral hops aroma, good part of salty malts. Taste is actually bitter: malt into somewhat citrusy and mineral body with great hop final accord. Good carbonation and medium body.

A - Spot on for the style, clear bright yellow in color with a full half inch of sticky white head.

S - Somewhat skunky with an herbal hop note and some cracker like malts.

T - Not really loving this something about it tastes off, skunked off. It's like a cracker like sour dough taste mid palate. Finish is great with some herbal hops.

M - Can't bash the mouthfeel it's light, somewhat refreshing, and crisp.

Overall I guess I like my Pilsners more malt forward with less skunked lager or pilsner yeast. Still not bad for the $1.75 I paid for it.

I bought a case of this at an insanely low price--never heard of it, but had to jump on it. As it turns out, a wise move.

Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy blonde with a fine dense cloudy white head that stays on and leaves lacing.

Smell: Invitingly strong malty Teutonic notes that ends with a bit of spicy, almost peppery hop finish.

Taste: Sweet malt and just as the nose told you; a peppery hop sizzle at the very end.

Mouthfeel: Very light.

Overall: Very satisfying. This is a great German Pilsener--a perfect example of what a Pilsener should taste like. One day when I take my dream beercation to Germany I'll be pouring a lot more of this stuff down my neck.

A- pours a straw yellow. nice head with excellent retention

S- spicy hops and a little salt. cracker-like malt

T- light malt up front with some spiciness from the hops following directly after. salt adds some twang that enhances the hops. crackery grain in the end. is "crackery" a word? TOO LATE

O- nicely done by weltenburger. interesting brew

A - Clear straw coloured body, with two fingers of glowing white head which hangs around for the duration, nice lacing.

S - Mild grassy hops, salty malt and citrus.

T - Follows the nose with a touch more intensity, a pretty typical German pils character of dry cracker malt, some lemon and grassy hops.

M - Thin body, high carbonation. Refreshing.

O - Crisp and clean, lacking a little in character but it's an easy drinking warm weather guzzler and it does that well.

A classic German Pils.

Very clear, light yellow hue, pours with a huge white head, great retention & lacing.

Strong Saaz aroma... very steelie and metallic, floral, with a bit of lemon zest. Hints of fresh sour dough bread.

The hops are upfront and linger as well. Bitterness is somewhat restrained. Floral hopping has a steelie mineral quality with a hint of lemon zest. Refreshing sour dough bread from the malt. No sulfur or diacetyl... very clean.

Light to moderate body has a slight acidity and a very crisp finish.

Very drinkable and an excellent example of the style.

A: Straw yellow colored body, 1 finger head displays decent retention and some lacing.

S: Noble hops are dominant, also some sweet malt in there.

T: Sweet malts with the crisp noble hop finish, a nice clean flavor.

M: Very light and refreshing, easy drinking german pilsner. Medium to high carbonation.

O: Very drinkable pils, certainly not the best, nothing unique here.. but I'd have a few.

It pours a hazy, pale, golden colour with a nice foamy head on top.

Some light caramel notes are present in the aroma. There is a nice crisp kind of grainy smell going on in the background too.

The flavour is kind of mild. Grainy up front and slightly sweet with some fruity/toffee notes coming through. Nice hops come through in the background.

Overall, this isn't doing much for me. It's an okay beer, but quite forgettable

A - mostly clear straw golden, fluffy white head retained nicely
S - strong leafy, slightly metallic, herbal, and grainy
T - classic clean leafy hop flavour, light herb and pepper notes, mineralish, and grainy malt
M - light, crisp, and clean with a medium dry finish
O - has all the characteristics of a crisp dry pilsner with a little more oomph on the hops, this would make a great session beer
