Appearance – This pint arrived with a excellent red brown color and a yellow, one-finger head. It exhibited moderate retention and heavy sheet-like lacing from start to finish.

Smell – This smells both hoppy, indicating late aromatic hopping, plus significant malt aromas.

Taste – Caramel abounds in the first moments with herbal and caramelly undertones. The brew has a long finish with nicely restrained, but present bitterness.

Mouthfeel – This beer has a chewy, creamy, full-bodied and rich feel. Very likable.

Drinkability – Excellent for the season; possibly any season. Highly recommended.
