Poured into a Celebrator pokal. Pours a medium golden amber with a thin white head that dissipates to patches, leaving slight lacing. Aroma of wheat, lemon citrus, coriander; spicy and mildly floral, classic witbier. Flavor follows aroma, wheat, citrus, coriander, a bit of herbal bitterness from the chamomile; a little semi-sweet wheat at the finish, which is a bit abrupt. Light to medium bodied. A mild witbier that covers all the bases for the style, but is somewhat unexciting. Perhaps because of the low ABV, the flavors are muted and the herbal bitterness in the finish does not have as much support as it should. A true to style, but probably not a repeat.

Absolutely awesome wheat beer, very very similar to St. bernardus wit, which is in my opinion as good as it gets. Ridiculously well balanced.

Batch # 147
Appearance - Pours a pale straw with two fingers of bubbly white head.
Smell - wheat, orange peel, coriander, apples, belgian yeast (banana, clove), spicy hops, bready malts.
Taste - Starts off with the wheat, orange peel, and coriander then goes into the apple. The belgian yeast is lost and the hops are barely noticeable.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with light to moderate carbonation. Finishes dry with a lingering sweetness from the apple and the malts.
Overall - A so-so wit. Some modifications need to be made to makes this a standout.
