16 oz can, canned on 10/04/12, poured into a pint glass. Major thanks to Brian for the hookup with this.
A- Pours a clear golden amber color topped with a finger of creamy white head, nice retention and thick sheets of lacing.
S- Juicy hops, lots of citrus and fruity orange aroma, also some pine and freshly-cut grass. Caramel malt lingers in the background but this is definitely all about the hops.
T- Huge rush of hop flavor with grapefruit and lemon rind, lots of pine resin and a bit of dank earthiness. The malt is also very assertive, with bold caramel flavors and a nice bready texture. Bitterness is persistent throughout and builds on itself.
M- Medium-bodied, smooth feel, oily hop resin feel, dry towards the finish.
O- An awesome, juicy, and very bitter IPA. The hop flavors are really great and are balanced really nicely by the malt; as bitter as this is I could definitely drink a few of these in a sitting. Great stuff.

A- Light golden color, medium low carbonation
S- Nose will be slightly different each year due to different hops, but the common theme is REALLY fresh hops. Fresh cut grass, leaves, vegetation along with the citrusy hop profile
T- This is THE best fresh hop beer ive ever had, and Im a huge hop head. Its over the top fresh while not overly bitter and still being over the top hoppy. The fresh hops really come through. There is just enough malt and sweetness to hold up the hops. Definitely a hop centric beer for the hop heads in us. The closest beer to it is fresh Heady.
M- Just enough body/malt/sweetness to hold the beer together for the hops. A medium-light bodied IPA.
O -I go out of my way for this every year and will do so again. This is tied for my favorite beer from surly. (its tied with Moe's Bender, which is Oaked Coffee Vanilla Bender which only makes it to very limited releases)
