This one is red in color, a bit of carbonation going on here to keep it from being flat. There is a creamy and thick brown head, but lacing isn't really apparent.

A very aromatic beer! There is a lot of sweet brown sugar like malt and a huge shot of citrus hops. I think I"m detecting a bit of spice, but that could be just a nice impact of the hops used.

There is enough hop presses here to call this and IPA. There is more than enough malt here to call it well a LOT of things. Sugary sweet caramel and brown sugar off set by fruity and citrus hops.

Never Summer would win me over but despite the appearance the body is rather lacking in carbonation. There's a good bit of weight to this one give the style, but more carbonation is needed.

There's no doubt this is a good beer, but it really could have been on another level with a bit of a tweak.

Pours a clear cherry color, off white head is a small half finger but creamy in appearance. Retention is there and it leaves very distinct rings of lacing on the glass.

Toffee with slight licorice, tobacco, herbal spiciness and some raisin and um, leather... Hops are a balancing pine and resin. A bit odd but complex.

Malts are bready and robust with cherry sweetness and hints of muscat and cinnamon. Hops are equally balancing with pine and spicy herbs. Finishes with some bitterness, a touch soapy with the warmth of alcohol.

Sticky malt really keeps the bitterness from drying the palate. Moderate carbonation and body makes for a dense amber that is easy enough to put down.

Good beer, appropriate to the style. Malt is sticky and complex the touches of alcohol in a sessionable ale really make this feel true to the season. I want another and then curl up on the couch in front of a fireplace.
