I first had this beer at a First Friday Beer Tasting at a local restaurant. Reviewed from a 6/pk purchased at The Beer Store in Southampton, PA. Great price...$6.99 6/pk.

Enjoyed in a DFH Signature Glass.

A - Pours with massive, pillowy, two finger head. Color is a orange, slightly opaque color. Head lasts for quite a while. Leaves a lingering thin head along with massive amounts of lacing.

S - A bready smell with a mix of citrus and a slight hops smell, as well.

T - Very malty, biscuity taste. Not a great deal of hops are present. A rather sweet taste is the overwhelming flavor. Alcohol is not noticeable.

D - Just like the first time I had this, this beer is highly drinkable. A great beer for those that are not "hop heads" but want a quality beer. A good beer to segway into craft beers with.

Overall - A good beer. I enjoy a bit more hops in my beer but the overall taste is really good. I'll never turn down an offering of this in the future.

Cheers!

A: Dark golden, caramel almost color. Fat head poured out of a bottle into a standard pint glass. Lots of carbonation, and looks delicious to drink.

S: This smells DRY! I mean, it says "dry-hopped ale" right on the bottle, so why would I be surprised?

T: I'm not sure if anyone on here likes to partake in smoking cannabis, but good lord, if you match this up with some hash, the taste is phenomenal. I guess, even if sober (or slightly drunk) you will still get the dry hops coming through in full force. I'm a hop-head, and although this isn't the hoppiest beer around, you can't miss it.

M: I love the taste, but there is something left to be desired with this beer. What is it? I'm not exactly sure. It is on the tip of my tongue (literally, where I'm missing the taste is on the tip of my tongue, the sweet & salty regions).

O: One of my favorite beers to kick back and smoke a joint with. As they say on their website "So sit back, relax and get hazed," after a six-pack of these, you'll no doubt be hazy.

Pours an extremely hazy carmel color. Bits of sediment stay suspended in the beer. Nice rocky light tan head with good retention. Tons of lacing sticky lacing. The sediment and haze might be a turn off for some but i think it is a beautiful beer. Some light floral hops in the armoa. Little bit of citrus. Tastes of bready maltiness up front, balanced out by some citrusy hops, little bit of orange. Medium mouthfeel, not a lot of carbination. Lacks a certain pop that I would want in a really good beer. Very smooth finish, no bite or bitterness. Pretty well balanced beer, but just falls short for me. Other than the way it looks, no other part of this beer really stands out as being outsanding.

Poured into becker. Very slightly cloudy orange, with a thick white head that sticks around pretty well, leaving very nice lacing. Smell is subdued hops. Taste is very clear and smooth up front, fading into crackery malts with just a touch of hops. A very drinkable pale ale in my opinion; mouthfeel is slick and a little fuller than I'd expect (probably because it's unfiltered).

Got a bottle of this after reading the label expecting a hop nirvana. Sorry, folks. Didn't happen for me. Wasn't there for my palate. Looked great when poured into a tumbler. ( I like to drink hoppy beers in a tumbler, so I get the hop effect full in the face). Color was good, head was really nice, mouthfeel was good, but it didn't tickle my tongue the way I was expecting. No numbness or bitterness on the back of my throat. Tasted like it was watered down. Not sorry I tried it but I was expecting more from the hops. Good price though.

On tap at jamian's in red bank.

Arrives in a pint glass with a half inch of frothy foam. Cloudy dark amber color. Aroma is mostly a nice citrus hoppiness. First sip is a smooth malty full bodied sweetness with a hint of hop flavor. Well balanced and very easy to put back.

A nice warm weather beer. Pleasant and flavorful.
