This beer was gold in color. It had a good-sized white head with a bit of lace.
Kind of an average beer. Toasty, grassy aroma, not that exciting.
Same with the taste. White toast, mild hops.
Pleasant enough, inoffensive. Good for quenching a thirst.

Poured from a bottle into a room-temperature stein. Made the mistake of reading other reviews of this beer before drinking it (many were negative reviews). Beer is fresh - "enjoy by Feb 2013."
Appearance - Light/medium amber color; transparent; initially about a 1/2 finger white head but it dissipated quickly.
Smell - Very difficult to discern a smell. After agitating I can pickup a slight smell of yeast and malt....perhaps a slight berry-like smell.
Taste - Underwhelming initially. Bread, toasted grains flavor...remains throughout.
Mouthfeel - Easy on the palate; light-bodied; medium carbonation.
Overall - Not my favorite Boulder Beer but okay for a light-bodied, American Blonde Ale. It grew on me as I made my way through it and I would drink this again if I was looking for a light, refreshing beer.

Poured into a conical pint glass.
The beer is a perfectly crystal-clear golden hue, so clear you can hold it up to your computer monitor and read words through it. A frothy, soapy light cream head stays around for a while, leaving a thick film eventually. Massive sheets of light foam lacing coat the glass. Very impressive.
The beer smells slightly malty and sweet up front, but a nutty, peppery citrus comes through as well.
The taste is malt-forward, with a nice subtly tangy lemon peel finish. Offering nice balance. To mimic the aroma, faint black pepper comes through in the finish as well.
The mouthfeel is dry, clean, and crisp.
Overall, I can't tell you how impressive the lacing is for this brew, such good head retention and webbed foam everywhere on the glass. But ultimately, this is just a perfectly clean, refreshing beer to session. Great in summer, great in spring.

Tasted On: 09-21-2012
Freshness: Unknown
Packaging: Draft
Glassware: Shaker pint
Purchased: On tap at Boulder Beer restaurant, Denver airport
A: Clear and bright copper in color. The pour yields almost no head, but I get a nice amount of lacing.
S: Aromas are muted but have some light bready malts and some sweetness to them.
T: Taste is of caramel malts and honey; lightly sweet and just a hint of earthy hops.
M: Highly carbonated with a light body. Finish is well balanced.
O: An easy-drinking, pleasant ale. Nothing fancy, but it's not billed to be so. Went well with my meal while waiting for my flight.
