Served on tap at The Brass Rail in Hoboken, NJ
A: Pours a clear dark golden yellow in color with some moderate amounts of light orange highlights and a moderate amount of visible carbonation. The beer has a finger tall off-white head that slowly redues to a small thin patch with a very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel malts with a touch of light fruit sweetness (apple and pear) with moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit, pine, tropical/pineapple/mango, and floral hops.
T: Upfront there is a light amount of caramel malts with some light fruit sweetness - both apple and pear. After the light malts upfront, there is a moderate to strong presence of hops - citrus/grapefruit, tropical/pineapple/mango, and a much lighter amount of pine. Very light amounts of bitterness which fades rather quickly.
M: Medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and slight creamy upfront with a touch of dryness in the finish.
O: This was a really enjoyable beer and had quite interesting combination of hop aromas and flavors - great hop presence but very light amounts of bitterness. Easy to drink as the alcohol is well hidden.

I had this one on tap at Mohawk house in Sparta, NJ.
They served the beer in a chalice style glass. The coloring is a light yellowish/orange with minimal foam on top.
The aroma was very fruity on top. I picked up pear and apple. It smelled different from most IPA's. There was also some lighter floral notes.
There was a decent amount of hops in each sip. There wasn't very much malt, which left this one a little underbalanced.
I welcome Captain Lawrence back to New Jersey. I look forward to trying more of their brews.

Re-entry into NJ special offering from CL
on tap at CMP
A - Cloudy orange with a one-finger white head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass.
S - Pine/Grapfruit.
T - Bready with a grassy bitterness. Floral as well.
M - Crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied IPA
O - Decent offering, dry hopping definitely rocks

Growler from brewery into a Captain Lawrence tulip glass.
Pours a clear burnt yellow with light orange hue. Thin pure white head leaves a bubbly ring with spotty lacing.
Smells of heady fruity hops with bright citrus and light pine. Undertones of light tropical fruit and creamy malts. Some background bubblegum with a touch of bread crust as it warms.
Tastes of mixed tropical fruit and pear with tingly pine needles. Initial creamy mouthfeel tuns into potent hop bitterness with a dry wheat bread crust in the middle. Finishing out on a light lemony citrus note with lingering bitterness.
Medium body with smooth feel, light carbonation kind of segues into the bitterness.
Over all a nice IPA with a hoppy bitterness that slightly over powers the delicate pear notes. The hops and pear thing definitely work well together though.
