Probably your best bet for any sort of decent beer if you find yourself on the strip in downtown Palm Springs. They have around 12 beers on tap and about 20 different beers in bottles. They even had the matching glassware for all of their beers. (Chimay goblet) etc) Apparently they change up their selection of beers on tap to keep things interesting. The food was pretty decent and they have some good specials for happy hour. I believe it's 2$ off the price of beers from 4-6pm daily, but check the website for more information.

match box is on a one way street on the strip in downtown palm springs,it sits on the 2nd floor with lots of outside seating with a small fire pit..it also has a fair amount of inside seating..we sat outside to watch the going ons of the street..very pleasant area...

service was very good as the place was very crowded,,,lots of good food and appetizers we got the 3-6-9 Angus burgers topped with onion rings

as far as the brews go about a dozen taps and a dozen bottles..craft beer in palm springs is not that great..offerings are limited at store and restaurants...MATCHBOX has by far the best selection i saw while there..allagash,green flash,stone, bear republic,alaskan,lost coast,chimay and 6-7 more good ones

this is the place to go while in palm springs for both great food/atmosphere..and a solid line up of craft beers

Matchbox is located on the main drag in downtown Palm Springs. The second floor balcony seating allows you to sit and imbibe while watching the goings-on on the street. The excellent location, friendly atmosphere, and good food help make this a popular spot. The good beer on tap makes it a worthy stop for BA folk.

There are about 10 beers on tap, including selections from Chimay, Rogue, Lost Coast, and a variety of others. This is among the best selection of craft beers available in the downtown area. Expect to pay about $5 a glass, or get a $2 discount during happy hour.
