Pours a hazy shade of yellow with a small head. This beer has really changed over the years, something I think is due in a major way to the many changes in ownership. It is rather light in body and taste with minute flavors of what I'm sure was supposed to be lemon. With its easy drinkability, it would make a pretty good yard work brew, but other than that there isn't too much going on here. The finish was quick and light as well.

This beer poured out as a light yellow color with a fizzy white head that doesn't last very long. The smell of the beer is of malts and just a touch of citrusy lemon. The taste of the beer was very light, almost watery in flavor, just a little bit of malts in there along with a little bit of hops. The mouthfeel is extremely light and pretty not enjoyable to me. Overall I just wasn't able to get into this brew. Not sure if it was the lack of flavors or what. I won't need to have this one again anytime soon.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass.
Appearance: Pours a translucent, very pale color. Has a large, fizzy head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing.
Smell: Lemon comes through strongly in the nose. Has a hint of wheat malt in the background but it's subdued.
Taste: Slightly bitter up front with a lager-esque hoppiness to it. Develops a wheaty, malty, lemony flavor towards the back. All in all, very meh.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and clean, like a lager.
Drinkability: A pretty drinkable brew but not a very exciting one. Really, there is nothing about this beer to set it apart from anything else. I'd have it again if it were offered to me but I can't see myself buying it again.

A: golden yellow hue; ample carbonation
S: very little smell; whiff of lemon
T: light, sweet; not much depth or breadth to the flavor, which dissipates quickly
M: smooth, perhaps a bit too thin
D: it comes close to lawnmower drinkability
I disliked this beer the first time around; the second time, it proved less distasteful.

A: Pale orange with a think white head that disappeared quickly and left no lacing.
S: Good malty base with a heavy whiff of wheat and lemon. Oddly enough Im getting some of that dark crystal malt fruit character in the nose (maybe its just a touch of munich)
T: very caramel sweet with a pretty distinct bready flavor (im convinced it was munich I was smelling earlier. There isn't a great deal of lemon flavor but rather something I would just classify as citrus (its hop flavor, its not actual lemon as the label indicates)
M: light body, finishes a touch sweet. A dryer finish would lend itself better to the hops and may balance this beer out a bit more.
D: This beer confused me, It looks like a light pale ale, it smells like a summer beer, but my overall impression was that of an out of style marzen. not bad overall, kind of feel like it has an identiy crisis goin on

An average (at best) blonde ale that seems too weak to showcase a pure malt character. But with floral aromas and soft fruitiness, the aroma digs it out of the cellar a bit.
The beer begins with a Blonde-enough look. Striving for a Pilsner stature, the beer falls a bit on the fizzy side and fails to maintain a formitable head. Light lacing as the over-carbonated beer falls flat and lifeless rather quickly.
Soft floral notes and citrus aromas work well with the soft esters of apples and pears. A harsher sulfur character comes in late and wrecks the pleasantries.
Flavors do much the same: light fruity notes early to accompany a crisp cracker-like malt base. But soon after, the beer weakens and the sulfurs give a heavy match-stick flavor that also interferres with texture. Hop bitterness seems approprite and aids in the citrusy ester profile and dryness.
Soft and smooth early with roughness and thinness comming into play later. Grainy finish and weak aftertaste cuts the beer short.
This is probably the same beer as the Strawberry Blonde but without the strawberry character, the hops give better balance and consistency to the beer.

Pours clear with a very light orange color. Less than a finger of white head that does not have much retension. Little bit of lacing on the glass. Lemon dominating both the nose and taste. Light feel with this beer and a medium amount of carb. Tiny bit of malt sweetness present which makes the lemon taste a bit more tolerable. I guess one could categorize this beer along with all the other "lawnmower beers" that you could really appreciate after a day of work in the summer heat.

I have had Pete's Wicked Ale before and didn't care for it. Here is my review of their summer seasonal.
A: Pours a really clear golden color. Some bubbles coming from the bottom. Head dissipated very quickly. No lacing.
S: Doesn't smell very appetizing. Smells pretty metallic with hints of sweetness and hints of earthy malts.
T: Tastes a bit better than the smell. I get a lot grain in the flavor. Some wheat. There is also a bit of licorice in the flavor as well. There is sopposed to be lemon in here, but it is very well hidden. You only get a hint of it. Pretty average overall.
M: Pretty light bodied and somewhat watery. Decent carbonation. Very clean finish. Almost no aftertaste.
D: Well, it does go down like water. Probably the high point of the beer. Somewhat refreshing. Flavor won't keep you coming back for more, but its got decent dinkability.
Overall, this is a very mediocre beer. Nothing stands out about this brew and it only has a little bit more character than the typical macro beers.

Pours a nice light straw colow with some slight initial head, but no lacing. Nice clean scent, hints of straw/malt and a whiff of lemon. Good clean taste, crisp and malty with a nice, slight lemon zing at the end that stays on the tongue. Goes down fine, if a little fizzy.

Pours a lightly hazed, lightly oranged, golden color with a cap of fairly creamy white foam.
The nose is lightly sweet and citrusy.
Flavor is a bit better. Touch of pale sugary sweetness some tangy citrus and lighly spicy hops. Medium bodied with a nice creaminess to it.
Not a bad beer, but there are plenty I would rather be drinking.

Thin white head; beer is straw colored, hazy. Hint of lemon in the nose, but not overpowering like other summer ales.
Most a flat mouthfeel, nothing going on. Doesn't really taste like a beer; tastes like a bad carbonated but flat lemon drink.
I could see this being refreshing in the heat. Has limited finishing qualities as a beer, it seems to cleanse the palate, but that's about it.
Another swing and a miss for Pete.

Poured into a pint glass from a 12oz. bottle.
The color is a light gold with a slightly foamy white head.
The smell is a sweet flavor. Has a slight citrus flavor, oranges, a little lemon, and a hint of vanilla
The taste is nice and easy. Not too strong with orange, lemon, flavors. A little hop flavor as well.
This is a beer that I grab while watching some baseball, which is what I imagine this beer was intended for. Is a nice summer beer that is light and is great for popping a cold after doing some yard work.
