Big thanks to thagr81us for hooking me up with a 32oz growler of this. Poured into a pint, the brew appears a polushed clear copper color with quick dissolving head. The color is deeper than most in the style. Rising bubbles of carbonation maintain a ring of lace around the perimeter.
Smells like apple cider with caramel to toffee malt. Some rindy quality of citrus and mandarins almost like hops but not as bright. A little sulfur and minerals. More sniffs smell increadingly more like apple mixed with funky cheese. As it warms up, there is a note of estery alcohol and even more focus on malt.
Taste is tart and fruity like apple cider. Some caramel sweetness contrasts mixing with sulfur, minerals and funky, estery alcohol. More sips reveal toasty grain and fruit like apple/pear skins but with a touch of veggie aspect and a mild aftertaste of pink bubblegum. At times, this brew's flavor s reminescent of flanders more than berliner.
This is a medium to light bodied brew with a modest to lighter level of carbonation. It isnt a bad brew but it feels like a mild flanders moreso than a berliner in many aspects; look, smell and taste primarily. I appreciate the chance to try this brew but it has some kinks that need worked out to make it better.

Big thanks goes out to my doppelganger for sharing this one while sitting around the pool on the 4th! Served from growler filled 30 minutes prior into an RJ Rockers shaker. Poured yellow-orange with a half finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, wheat, sour, tart, and raspberry. The flavor was of sweet malt, tart, sour, and wheat. It had a light feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. All of the right flavors for the style were present in this one which made it quite enjoyable. IT was extremely refreshing while sitting out in the sun all day. My main gripe with this one was that the carbonation level was rather low for the style in my opinion. Definitely glad I got to try this one and I suggest you at least do the same. Tick.
