Pours a deep chestnut brown with just the slightest ruby hues in the light and a thin dark tan head that quickly dissolves leaving almost no traces.

The roasted chocolate malt wafts from the glass with hints of coffee perhaps as well.

Robust chocolate malt flavor as advertised, deep and roasted, it only improves as the beer warms.

Great flavor character, light carbonation, and medium to heavy body, this beer is everything it claims to be.

Although the ABV is a little strong to qualify, this would be a great session beer. Tons of character, but nothing overwhelming, an excellent brew.
