Golden orange pour, frothy head calming to lace. Nose is an awesome pumpkin spice! The first sip is flavourful, but as I drink on the pumpkin disappears within the drink, and it is almost watery. Perhaps is is mildly pumpkin spicy, it is great with the initial sip, I think the flavours need to be more concentrated to make a stronger pumpkin appearance.

Another pumpkin beer on our tasting list.
Poured an orange-amber color, slightly hazy, lots of carbonation bubble streams keep the white head.
The aroma has lots of spices, cinnamon and nutmeg most dominant. The taste followed the same pumpkin pie type spices, lots of malt base and a touch of hop in the finish.
Light body and lots of carbonation (as noted above), keep it easy to drink.
Overall, another very good version of a pumpkin ale.

2012 batch, 12 oz bottle poured into snifter.
A: Pours an orange, slight head that dissipates early. Carbonation bubbles continue to rise. Fairly clear, can see shape of finger through the glass.
S: Smells great, esp for a 5% beer. Spices, pumpkin shine.
T: Tastes like a session pumpkin beer should. Strong pumpkin flavor with some spice and cinnamon coming through. Just a tasty beer.
M: Thin body, with some of the spice hitting the tongue. Carbonation is evident on the palate.
O: A great lower alcohol pumpkin beer. It won't stand up to the likes of a pumking, but its one of the best sessionable pumpkin beers on the market. I really enjoy this one.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium copper in color with some orange highlights and moderate to significant amounts of visible carbonation. The beer has a half finger tall off white head that reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the majority of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices - specifically cinnamon and nutmeg stand out.
T: Moderate flavors of caramel malts with slightly stronger flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Light notes of hops.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Well balanced both between the malts and hops as well as between the spices and pumpkin. Very enjoyable and easy to drink...would be good for turkey day.

I recently purchased this at The Fridge for at-home consumption. It is that time of the year ...
From the bottle: "Ale Brewed with Pumpkin, Honey & Spices"; "Brewed with summer's harvest of 5 varieties of pumpkin locally grown for the brewery and by the brewery. All are hand selected and carmelized [sic] just prior to brewing. You will not find this beer before seeing the first pumpkin for sale on the roadside market. Only the freshest ingredients combined with our pumpkins give you a rich creamy golden orange ale that tastes great all fall."
My pour produced two-plus fingers of dense, tawny head with excellent retention. Color was a deep-orangish amber with NE-quality clarity. Nose was very spicy with notes of cinnamon, clove and allspice. Mouthfeel was slightly full, but not really "creamy" and not only did the spices translate well on the tongue, but I also tasted vanilla. Finish was sweet as you might expect from the style. This was a good version of the style, not great, but not as bad as some that I have tried and I have been a fan of the style going 'way back.

A - orangish amber; loose, fizzy, head that quickly fizzes away
S - grainy, pumpkin, cinnamon
T - pie crust, pumpkin, grains, cinnamon, nutmeg
M - crisp, medium bodied, smooth
This is an easy to drink pumpkin ale. The flavor is rather mellow and bit a grainy. There are hints of pie crust that I love in this style, but the flavor is dominated by grains and spices. The pumpkin comes through up front and is quickly washed away with spices. A bit of balance would definitely improve this beer.

Served in a Walter Payton shaker pint glass.
That's right, another pumpkin beer. Why the hell not? This one pours a clear auburn topped by a finger of off-cream foam. The nose comprises the usual pumpkin pie spice and caramel aromas, though things aren't as overdone, as ultra-spiced as usual. It's all nice, tame, and overarchingly pleasant. The taste follows suit, with the same usual cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, allspice, and ginger spicing, along with some real pumpkin filling and a smattering of light buttercream. Gotta say, this is one tasty pumpkin beer. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a lightly creamy feel. Overall, an easy-going and tasty pumpkin beer, one of the best I've had in a long time. Good times.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale orange with a decent amount of head forming and then quickly dissipating.
S: Has a strong sweet gourd character and a mild amount of your usual pumpkin pie spices, especially ginger
T: The flavor profile closely resembles the aroma with the ginger lingering for a few moments after you take a drink.
M: Very light and refreshing with a good effervescence from the carbonation .
O: A decent example of the style, perhaps a touch too light in body, but otherwise very quaffable.
