From BeerAdvocate Magazine Volume II, Issue I:
Pours a slightly hazed, pale straw-colored beer with a ringed white lacing that drops quickly. What's odd is that we spied small bead-like particles in suspension; very unusual for the style and filtered beers like this, and if we die, let this review go on record. Seriously, it appears to be mineral-like, but let's move on. A bit sulfury in the nose, mild acidity, lime rind and grassy grain. The smoothness is big enough to round this pils out, the light to medium body shows sufficient crispness for the style. Maltiness goes the way of grassy or almost animal-feed character. The hop character drops a lemon-lime herbal combo with a bitterness that balances. Mild chalky palate, mineral with a slight biscuity dryness, that's actually bone-dry in the finish and a bit palate smacking.
A fairly decent pils; perhaps the house flavors show a bit more and take longer to grow on your palate. Within balance and certainly worth a shot.
