Best before March 2012
A: Clear reddish brown with almost no head or lacing.
S: Artificial cinnamon flavor and apple with some sweet, bready malt.
T: Sweet, artificial tasting cinnamon and apple again with the same malt well hidden. There is also a cola flavor. The cinnamon becomes almost bitter and, after a while, leaves a sour aftertaste. Not too tasty.
M: Thin.
O: I don't know if the cinnamon is fake, but it tastes like it is. Other than that, this could be good if you're looking for liquid pot pouri. I didn't bother finishing after lingering over it for over an hour.

Appearance – Clear red/brown/amber with a small white head.
Smell – Cinnamon straight up.
Taste – Tart apples, cinnamon and sugar.
This was free since it was going out of code at my store... so it was kind of out of season. With that said, it is pretty tasty and could be celebrated with in the fall or spring. There’s moderate carbonation and it’s a pretty easy drink; if you like sweeter beers give it a shot when it is available next fall.

Golden color with a touch of haze. Modest head but it leaves some streaks on the glass.
Strong "autumn" spices--nutmeg, cinnamon, all spice and clove. Plenty of pumpkin nose as well.
Relatively dry taste with nutmeg and coriander (?) standing out strongest. Thinnish body with a muted level of carbonation. A touch of light hop.

Look: Poured a nice amber/brown color
Smell: Immediate notes of apple and cinnamon, apple pie! Nutmeg, cloves, and perhaps caramel.
Taste: My first reaction was "wow, that's a lot of cinnamon". Sweeter than what I am used to, but didn't really turn me off to the beer. Lots of flavors going on at once. The apple sweetness seemed to be up front and ended with a bitter cinnamon flavor at the end of each taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium body, easy to drink. Just the right amount of carbonation which made it easier to pick up on all the spices and flavors.
Overall, I really enjoyed this beer. It is quite filling so I personally would have just one pint. It is a great beer to have on a cold day preferably with (or as!) dessert. From my experience, I'd recommend serving slightly warmer and definitely in a glass.

12 oz bottle was poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: This beer poured a minimal head that has reduced to a thin layer. It is a hazy copper color with some clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass.
Smell: Apples, cinnamon, caramel malts, bready notes. Pretty straightforward and smells like what the label says.
Taste: Some nice and faint apple motes, spices are a bit more noticeable, some sweetness from the malts, and a bit of bitterness in the end.
Mouthfeel: smooth, light bodied, a little watery feeling, medium carbonation, and a bit of spices.
Overall: A very interesting brew. A nice take and a bit different to all the pumpkin beers out there. Will be enjoying more of this in the future and hope some makes the mountains when I head up north to go snowboarding.

An ale with apple and cinnamon, sounds great@!
Pours a deep golden red color with a huge bubbly off white head that dissipates quickly and leaves spotty lace on the way down. The aroma reminds me of apple pie and really little else. The cinnamon is huge in the aroma of this "beer". The flavor holds lots of cinnamon as advertised with a bit of fleeting sweet honey malt, apple and a brown sugar taste. This finish on this brew is extremely dry. Medium to light body with a moderate to light level of carbonation and a spicy watery mouthfeel. This one sure is different, but not something I think I would ever purchase again. Its also the least buttery tasting of the Woodstock brews I've had.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a Samuel Adams pint glass. Purchased at Wakefield Liquors in Wakefield, RI.
A- Amber-molasses clear body, medium lacing, medium retention.
S- Cinnamon-sugar, pumpkin pie with the crust.
T- The most accurate way I can describe this beer's taste is cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Cinnamon-sugar is slightly overdone, but not to the point of being artificial. It's definitely a sugar-pumpkin bomb. Fruity, almost anise aftertaste. Unique and probably not for everyone, but worth a try.
M- Low carbonation, medium mouthfeel.
If you prefer a more subtle pumpkin beer, this is not for you. You could drink this beer for dessert or to accompany dessert. Worth a try if you're into that.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Brown color with a thin off-white head, and very little lacing.
Smell: Heavy smell of cinnamon and hints of other spices and maybe apple.
Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste heavy on the cinnamon, finishes with apple notes, spring water, and some pine notes.
Overall: Great beer! I wish I had found this one a long time ago.

Poured into a pint glass. This one pours a clear chestnut color with a thin cap of bubbly white head.
Smells like an apple cinnamon candle. Emphasis on the apple. Really reminds of mulled apple cider. Nice smell but not sure if it works for a beer. Much like the aroma this has apple and cinnamon flavors. Reminiscent of gingerbread. Light bready malts in the background.
The body is thin with soft carbonation. Overall this one comes off as more of a novelty than anything. May be more pleasing to some but this isn't my cup of tea.

Poured from a bottle into a tumbler pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, deep, orange-amber coloring with a thin, sparse, filmy coating on the surface. Holy shit does this smell good! Pumpkin pie all up in the nose, with a heavy dose of cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as some cumin. Wow, it really smells like a pumpkin pie coming right out of the oven. Flavors are roasted on the initial tongue, with a bready backbone supporting the solid pumpkin and spice blending that remains consistent from the nose. Not as enveloping as the aromas, but still a strong pumpkin bread blending all throughout the palate. The aftertaste is a bit of a dropoff, as the flavors disperse rather quickly on a light body, leaving a slight spicing behind, but without the support of the main characteristics. I think part of me was wanting this beer to be a bit more robust in mouth to support the flavors, but the bottom line is that it still tastes damn good. The finish is quick and clean, with only a touch of the overall roasted highlights lingering behind. Very tasty beer, and extremely sessionable.
