The same as our original wheat but with the delicious refreshing flavor of raspberry in every sip. A light dry finishing beer. A summer favorite on those hot days.

Pours clear golden color with a big head that quickly dissipates. The smell is strong with raspberries and a bit of wheat and malt. The taste is also mostly of fairly dry raspberries and some wheat. A clean mouthfeel, and fairly drinkable. A good one for a hot afternoon. My first experience with a non home-brew'd rasberry wheat.

All these years I've passed over this on the shelf, I never knew there was a Raspberry version.
Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a smallish white head that quickly dissipates to a cap. Smells of raspberry syrup mostly. It's a powerful raspberry aroma, I can't smell any beer underneath. The flavor is a hint tamer on the raspberry front. The flavor brings spicy wheat, a bit of earth and butter to the mix. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. All these years and even the anticipation couldn't make this a great beer. Its kind of one dimensional and frankly a bit boring, not my cup of beer.

Poured from a bottle into a weisse vase, the beer is a bright, vibrant, yellow-gold coloring with a trace, thin filmy coating of white on the surface. Aromas of raspberry all over the nose, both tart and sweet. Flavors are very raspberry on the initial tongue, with a very true flavor, avoiding the syrupy character that some fruit beers end up with. Almost a baked flavor to it, like raspberry cobbler or pie. The bready characteristics are slightly underwhelming when trying to balance the tart, sweet berry profiles, but they do help to keep it from dominating your palate and becoming cloying. Subtle sweet aftertaste, which is a welcome surprise, giving your palate a quick break between sips. Clean, crisp finish for the fairly light bodied brew. Not bad, but too many might be a little oversweet for me.

A- Crystal clear golden ale poured into pint glass. Fizzy white head forms to about two fingers and dies out just as quickly. Small ring remains but leaves no lace.
S- Tart fruit right away. Strong raspberry notes mixed with a lighter malt and bread background.
T- Same elements as the aroma but with a different feel. Raspberry is still strong but the bread, wheat and malt balance it out a bit more here. Takes on a soapy floral feel after some time.
MF- Light bodied with a foamy feel and high carbonation. Slightly bitter finish.
Just another light fruit wheat beer. The fruit is nice in this hot weather but it just ends up feeling like soda after a bit. Not bad at all but this type of beer is all too familiar.

Part of a mixed pack that my wife brought back from her camping trip in NH.
Poured from a 12oz. bottle, best before Jan. 2012.
Appearance: A very clear, very pale yellow body. Average-sized head at 3 fingers and retention is not bad.
Smell: Certainly smells like raspberries so it lives up to the billing....so far.
Taste: Raspberries but not fresh. A metallic flavor is in there and the raspberries are not very good, too vegetal.
Mouthfeel: Some slight bitterness but all wrong. Like eating a plant stem. Plus, the image i have in my mind is vomit.
Overall: Not pleasant and i still have one left :(

Poured from the bottle into a nonic pint glass.
Large glaring white foamy head of three fingers tall. Body is quite adjunct looking crystal clear gold/straw color and minimal lacing. Not bad, nothing too impressive or awful.
Bouquet is strong spiced berry smells like raspberry and a wheat chew. Simple so I call good. Nothing offensive or off, smells like it should even have a little spicy clove.
Taste is incredibly fruity. Nice raspberry punch, light bodied density and almost crisp feeling. Missing a little wheat density in the palate, but seems to come through slowly in the finish.
Overall this is pretty impressive and a pretty tasty fruit beer, maybe one of the better ones I’ve had in a long time.

Picked up a single in NH. Poured into a standard pint glass. Orange tinted colored body. Nice sized white head, but once that was gone, the beer looked limp. Smell was full of raspberry. That aroma dominated. Flavor was also decent for a fruit beer. The beer had the taste of raspberry, but was not overly sweet. A tad artificial, but not sugary. Mouthfeel was thin and watery, but a beer with an abv of 4% is expected to be this way. Not a bad fruit beer, but I could only drink one of these in a session.

Pours pale gold with a foamy white head. Some decent lace and fair retention.
Light wheat, yeast, and grain aromas, but there is a raspberry scent. Nothing overpowering.
Light wheat brew flavors mingled with some artificial raspberry essence. The wheat brew part of this is not all that inspiring, and the raspberry flavor is not a Jolly Rancher, so I don't find this offensive. Flavors are mild, and jump back from bready sweet, to light bitterness. Average.
Light bodied and carbonated. Fine here.
This is what it is, and this bottle probably was a holdover from a broken 12 pack. Condition was fine, but I couldn't even see myself seeking this on a hot summer day. Nothing wrong, just nothing that shines.
