hits the nose and brain with some real nice sweet syrup-y notes for a sec before the hops start to bleed thru. had a hard time totally wrapping around the mouthfeel but maybe thats just cuz im a baby when it comes to hoppier bitterness... actually this is a very easily drinkable beer all things considered. it leaves a little lingering stinkyness in your mouth but not in a bad way, just in a sour way. could be served to gruff old men with umsc hats and itd probably go over fine

Clean, crisp taste that I want in a pilsner. It's local and I like it.

Clear amber appearance with a small head and scant lacing. Caramel malt aroma with some floral notes. Smooth, medium bodied, nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Fairly sweet. Toasty malt taste balanced by a modest amount of hops. Slightly metallic aftertaste.

Had it fresh at the brewery. So much better than the average BA rating that is calculated mostly from the bottled version of unknown freshness. A fragile, light pale malt character that is well balanced with the hops to produce a nice crisp flavor. Well done.

Poured from the bottle into a tall Libbey style pilsner glass.
Deep golden amber, with touches of real nice bronze and brown light highlights. Fine touches of linear carbonation reaching up to a nice simple three finger white head, fluffy and real good retention. Real nice looking lager.
Very large mineral like nose, with faint toffee notes that are accentuated with crispness. Very dry sensing with a good clean lager aroma. Exceptionaly big on neutral and almost water spirit like quality.
Palate hits real nicely. Super crisp mid palate with a very bock like caramel sweetness that is just dialed down a hair. Big toasted grains almost earthy like with a very light finish with flavors of sharp dry barley and rocky minerals. Flirts almost a malty pine like note as there is a lot of earthy tones in this lager which is surprisng.
Flirts with bock like light sweetness but stays lighter and goes for a very big bold dry action. Neat Vienna lager, very memorable and very good.

Pleasant tasting but devoid of anything distinctive. A very nice malt-hop balance for the style. I won't seek it, but I'll probably try it again in warmer weather. It could be quite refreshing, then.

Poured a clear amber with a two finger white head that dissipated quickly to a film. Originally, I thought this was a pilsner but realized upon reading the label that it is a Vienna Lager. Light nose of malt and grain. Taste follows the nose. Medium light body and carbonation. Very refreshing and drinkable.

Pours light copper almost see through with fizzy white foam settling up. Light layer on top. Active bubbles. Fruity nose some caramel. Light sweet taste with caramel and bread tones. Fasts finish. Simply brewed but effective.
