Nut Brown is mahogany in color, entering with hints of maple, followed by a roasted hazelnut body, balancing a clean malty finish.

No best by dates, no born on dates, on encrypted codes, or dated notches...that bugs me. Pours into a mini imperial pint glass a dark cola tinted amber brown body with a light tan head forming thick and dwindling down slowly. Fine speckled lacing left behind. The nose has some mild fruitiness, roasted malts, and hints of maple syrup. Flavor upfront is very sweet like maple syrup sickeningly sweet but that fades and the nice darker roasted malts with a hint of nutty dryness mellow things out saving it's drinkability. Overall mouthfeel is a bit rough with the unfermentables still hanging around each sip gets a little harder to take, medium bodied mellow carbonation no other complaints no over booze. Overall not as well refined as I like my beers this is rough around the edges to be polite and the best of the three offerings I've tried from them thus far.

Mahogany hued body; one-finger thick head; creamy. Nut and tree bark aroma. Toasted, slightly charred flavor: tannins and bitterness; tree nuts. Medium-heavy body; mild sugary body.
Rich and flavorable, roasty and subtly sweet but tempered with a mild bitterness. A fine nut brown ale...

Really not much going on here. Certainly drinkable and not offensive by any means, its flavors were subtle and did not stand out as much as I would have liked.

S - Mild caramel, a bit of sour grain, a hint of limestone.
T - Very nice malt open, toffee and dark bread, a moderately dry close, with mild hop spice and bitterness.
M - A touch sticky in the open, drying in the close, to a clean end.
O - A nicely executed brown, balanced and tasty.

Appearance: Nut brown with deep ruby reds underneath. About a half inch head with beautiful lacing as you enjoy the beer. Head is light brown in color with a nutty maple smell. Mouthfeel is watery and too hazel nutty for my liking. Overall, an ok beer but would go out of my way to find it!
