From the bottle, it pours a clear golden with a moderate white head that very slowly diminishes but remains thick for a long time. The nose gets a sweetish malty scent with some alcohol. Flavor is a well balanced malt with a touch of hops. Yum!

Pours perfectly clear golden body capped by mid-sized white head with excellent retention that sticks to the walls as gradually sets.
The nose is malty-sweet with biscuity aroma and pleasant, citrus-like light fruitiness from hops. Some shy honeyish alcohol shining through and I pick up some faint cooked vegetable notes of DMS.
The beer starts sweet with very rich Pils malt flavor with some toasty qualities and light citrusy-spicy noble hops. Malt is sufficiently attenuated allowing very smooth transition from the iniitial sweetness to moderately dry finish with mild hop-
bitterness that lacks any astringency or harshness. Perfect.
Body is medium and crispy. (500 ml, BB date 04-24-2012, into tulip.)
In short, a perfectly balanced Helles Bock with rich Pils malt and spicy-citrusy hops, worth seeking out.
