I've been to other locations in Ohio and by far this was the best. I went during a non-peak time (no games in the area) and still had a great time. I didn't have to wait for service someone was at our table within minutes of walking in. It was a business trip and the dinner was on the "boss", but it was still a great time. I would like to revisit this location during a game or vacation. The one thing that I found to be odd is the location and the entry. It’s located in a strip mall like setting and if you blink you can pass it.

stopped in here on vacation 8//7/11
Was skeptical about the place from the gimmicky name and outside look. But forgot all my stereotypes as I sat down to see a beer and tap menu ranging over the 50's. I truly needed to ask the waitress for more time because I couldnt decide.
Staff: very friendly, helpful and on point with helpful suggestions.
Atmosphere: perfect for a sports bar yet not the cheap wings and beer feel.
Food: Great for a late sunday dinner ordering a steak and wife had a burger.
Beer: had a Great variety from local breweries as well as the big guns. Covered the BMC as well for those that care.
Have a special beer list called the 100 beers from around the world. Awesome choices
living in NY I think all beer prices anywhere else are cheap, so I cant comment on the prices

Reviewed before they move to their new place on July 27th....so atmosphere I think you should take with a grain of salt here. I saw the new building today when checking into a hotel and while the building looks to be a step up from where they are at now, my review will be on their current location - so keep it in mind.
Atmosphere: Typical loud, dark sports bar. Stuff on the walls, games at the edges and on the bar, plenty of TVs over the bar. Nothing special really. Music loud and throbbing, but not so loud as to blow out the eardrums.
Quality: Beer quality here is TOP NOTCH. I really have to emphasize how high quality the beer is here. Sure - they have US domestic macros, but they have a wide range of highly rated US craft and international beers here. Whoever stocks their taps and bottle locker on the wall behind the bar knows their stuff.
Service: Can't complain for a Sunday night - not too crowded and got seen by a server within 5 minutes of sitting down. Not pushy, not surly - really just right service, but then again I'm usually easy to please when it comes to ordering and getting food. Food came within 10 minutes of ordering, and the beer within 2-3 minutes of ordering. Again, for a Sunday night - I can't complain.
Selection: Nothing less than amazing. 105 different bottles and 25 beers on tap. Wide range of US and international beers, covering all different styles. Large boards emphasizing the different styles on tap and descriptions of each beer on the several-page bottled beer menu.
Food: Typical American sports bar fare - burgers, sandwiches, hot wings, etc. But...the food is good, at least the burger was. The fries were typical - a bit mushy in the middle and not very crunchy on the outside. Still, I inhaled that burger - nicely juicy and tasty.
Value I thought was reasonable. I got a pint of beer in a Nonic glass and a burger for ~$12. There are some expensive beers in bottles though if you're so inclined.

I really have mixed feelings about this place. First, the food is good and of a pretty consistent quality. And the beer menus is LARGE, but MOST of it is bottles that are overpriced even for dining in. Additionally, there is zero attention paid to the finer details of beer drinking such as proper glassware and serving temperature. I got a Koeningshoeven Quad and they gave me an imperial pint glass and the bottle was freezing cold. Why not just leave those somewhere else in the building and age them? The server was not cool when I asked for a different type of glass, and based on the standard clientele I bet I was the first person to do that. So, a weird mixed bag. I still go there when I need to meet up for a beer in the burbs, I just deal with it.

Situated in a pretty non-descript strip mall complex in a quiet 'burb. My boss and I headed there since our hotel was just a block or two away.
Atmosphere is alright, if you like sport bars with plenty of widescreens and sports memorabillia.
We sat in a booth near the bar section and looked over the menu. Plenty of local drafts to keep a guy like me interested, with a good mix of micros from all over the US, and decent import mix. Sure, they have a few macros, but not enough to keep you away. Prices were quite reasonable, especially the drafts.
What caught my eye on the menu was a little caption saying "Orval embassador 2009". I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've seen this on this continent. I asked our waitress (she was really nice and helpful) what it took to actually get this accreditation, and she brought me John, one of the head Beer people for the chain who just happened to be there. Next thing you know, our booth was full of Beer guys, both pros and enthusiasts, and plenty of Beer. Needless to say, we had a super swell time.
We got a few wings, mine the super spicy ones, that didn't dissapoint.
Overall, I can't really say anything bad about this place.

A coworker and I make a early evening stop to this Winking Lizard outpost during a business trip to Cleveland.
It's tucked in the far back corner of a strip mall and seems unassuming except for the tons of cars in the parking lot. We arrived around 6:30 and the bar area was pretty crowded and the music was way too loud (to the point it was difficult to carry on a conversation).
Tons of TVS and the atmosphere is nice for the sports bar motif.
Notable taps were Founders Centennial IPA (Hoppy Handle) and Stone Pale and Arrogant Bastard. The rest were your standard English, Belgian, and Guiness (with variations of mixed Guiness including one with Framboise). Bonus points for serving beer in Imperial Pint Glasses!
They have 100 bottled beers and a user friendly placemate to guide you through the selections.
Tuesday is $.40 wing and half price pizza night so we obliged.
They eventually made the music managable. We also had good service from a very busy server.
Overall, this is a great place for a beer lover to take a mixed crowd. Sports, bar food, BMC. Who knows, you may be able to convert someone to the good beer world with their "beginners list."

Went here for dinner with my girlfriend for dinner a few nights ago before catching a movie at the Valley View movie theater. I had a veggie black bean burger and an Arcadia London Porter. As anyone who has been to any Winking Lizard location knows, their beer selection is excellent. There are around 100 bottled craft/micro/imports to choose from among only a handful of BMC pisswater. Around 15-20 offerings are also available on tap, including several offerings from Great Lakes and Sam Adams. Our server was very polite and diligent. We got seated right away and the server came to our table very quickly after we had been seated. When I ordered the beer he asked me if I liked porters, to which I of course replied yes. I assume he had at least some real knowledge of the vast beer selection this franchise offers. The beer was served to me still in the bottle along with a non frosted imperial pint glass for me to pour it into. The food is good enough, but is not what I would call fine cuisine. It is good for bar food though. The food and beer prices are about average IMO. The place was very crowded. My girlfriend and I sat in the dining room as opposed to being seated at the bar. I like the location on Coventry in Cleveland Heights a little better as it is much smaller and has more of a pub vibe and this location has more of a big family restaurant type of feel.

Right down the road from our first hotel on our Northern Ohio/Chicago/Cincinnati round trip. They have a great selection of bottles and a few more beers on tap than what they have listed on their menu. They even have Ommegang Ommegeddon which BA currently lists as retired. The beer certainly seems fresh. The waitress was a little confused by some of my beer requests from the menu, but with that wide a selection it's to be expected. The burger i had was great and their house BBQ sauce was great. The prices were very reasonable, especially since most of their selections are bottled.

Like all Winking Lizards this is what you get: A huge selection of bottled beer (macro/craft/import-they have a 100 beer tour- They'll also always have a Hop and Belgian on tap), above average bar food, and generally a fun bar atmosphere. Each Lizard has something different to offer. IMO the best part of this Lizard is it's bar area. Large bar with a ton of TVs, and a great place to catch a Tribe or Brown's game.
The wait staff is very friendly- except for the bartender. Which seems to be the case at many of the Lizards. Not sure if they get fed up with people asking for off the wall beers, but generally Lizard bartenders have negative attitude- especially if your on the tour.
Also the bottle prices can be a little steep. But overall going to a Winking Lizard is a safe bet for good beer, food, and times.
