So picked this stuff from a bottle shop in Chattanooga, TN out of curiosity of trying some import from Russia. Turns out this is from Lithuania.
Anyways.
Pours a brown colored liquid. Deep amber with copper and brown hues inside the glass. Almost one finger thick tan colored head that disappears very very quickly. Leaves nothing behind. No lacing. Some bubbles seen rising up. Slight haze.
Extremely rich malty sweetness with caramel and toasty character. Alcohol is not apparent. Seems like some dry fruit as well, some figs may be. But very off setting aroma. Not inviting at all. No phenol, alcohol or hops are felt.
Hits the tongue with all the sweetness there is. Looks richer in molasses. Full of caramel, bad toffee taste and flat single sided malt taste. Tastes a bit unfermented. Finish is sweet. Some alcohol is felt. A bit of carbonation and alcohol add some value to an otherwise flat malt taste. No bitterness, but some hops must have been used to prevent the sweetness from overpowering.
Medium to slightly full bodied. Moderate to slightly high carbonation. N oastringency except for some moderate alcohol feeling that creeps in with taste. Sweet on palate. Difficult to finish.

I found this 500ml bottle at Sal's Liquors in Addison, IL for $2.99. Cool label but no freshness date.
The beer poured a murky apple cider color with a 1-finger white head. Short lived retention and almost no lacing.
The aroma was on the sweet side Toffee/maple syrup smell with bready malt and a good dose of alcohol.
Very sweet caramel and bready malt flavor with a lot lot lot of alcohol. Huge and unpleasant alcoholic aftertaste as well. Yuk!
Medium bodied with medium high carbonation.
Not very drinkable. A waste at any price.

Appearance - Pours an amber/copper color with a thin head, leaving almost no lacing at all..
Smell - The smell is amazing. Toffee, very malty and bready, brown sugar, and syrup..?
Taste - Extremely sweet.. almost overbearing. Toffee, sugar, malt, bready, and a pretty strong alcohol bite.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall - If not for the alcohol bite, I would probably like this very much.

A - Dark purple and brown with a little white head. I like the color.
S - Woozy boozy alcohol and grape flavored Tootsie Roll Pops. Smells potent.
T - Heavy on the grainy cereal flavors with some molasses on the back end.
M - Heavy and thick. This is a beast!
Not so good. I found all of these Lithuanian beers at a really low price so I had to pick them up, but none of theme have been anything special. They are all REALLY high ABV too.

A - Amber hue, nothing special. Didn't get much lacing.
S - Sweeter, malty scent. Made me moderately excited for the taste.
T - Extremely metallic up front!!! Others have said this but before I even read the reviews this was the first thought that came to mind. The metallic taste is there at the beginning and especially strong in the end. Yuck.
M - I felt this beer to be very flat and metallic. It's a pretty difficult beer to get through.
O - I have realized over time that this company makes a lot of coin off high alcohol content beers. Maybe the fact that I was paying three bucks should have tipped me off and although this isn't worse than Before After, it's still extremely difficult to get through a bottle.

I've seen this on the shelves a number of times and I finally bit the bullet and grabbed a bottle. Poured into a snifter.
A - Pours an amber hued copper with a thin off-white head, despite my best efforts to force a head out of the bottle.
S - Some bread and sweet malts. Pretty boring.
T - I get some metallic hops up front, kind of painful to be honest, alongside some fruits and apple. The metallic note sort of lingers on throughout the taste making this a rough experience. As the beer warms the fruit becomes more dominant and the metallic notes recede. This is still far from desirable, although a sharp jump from its cold counterpart.
M - Medium mouthfeel with some strong carbonation. Bottom line this is hurting my mouth a bit.
O - There are few beers that I refuse to finish until it warms, otherwise it is unbearable.

Served in a chilled tulip glass.
-Appearance 4.0: Pours out a beautiful amber that is strangely opaque and not translucent. I cannot see my hand on the other side of the glass in spite of the liquid looking clear. Very strange. Almost no head to this beer, just a slight foamy residue on top after the pour.
-Smell 4.0: Very, very nice bouquet. Deep aroma of barley and grains. Slight hop overtones. Promising.
-Taste 3.0: Front is slightly sour with a pleasant bitterness. Also somewhat sweet. Middle is big and filled with barley and caramel malts. Finish is slightly sour again and has a very subdued hoppy kick. Aftertaste is long and after a mild, high-palate bitterness, there is a very refreshing and long alkaline hop flavor. There is, however, a troubling metallic aftertaste.
-Mouthfeel 3.0: A higher level of carbonation could have really elevated the taste of this beer.
-Overall 3.5: This beer sat in the cool temperature of my basement for over a year before I tried it, so that may explain why my review is so wildly different from others. It is my opinion that this beer is refreshing and has a depth of flavor and aroma that sets it apart from many other beers. I never tasted the high alcohol content; everything was smooth and enjoyable. I did, however, notice a large amount of sediment on the bottom which is a result of the beer aging in the bottle.

Pours a medium amber color with almost no carbonation and absolutely no lacing. Smells like what you would imagine an artificial lager syrup smelling like. Incredibly sweet and malty with a lot of cheap alcohol. Leaves a metallic aftertaste. Overall about on the equivalent of any generic malt liquor in the States. Absolutely nothing about this is Belgian in style. Drinkable, but only for a purpose other than enjoyment.

Served in a snifter glass.
Appearance: Straight amber with light bubbles on the body. Head is fragile literally as I am sipping it, it starts dissipating. Head which is white is roughly 1/3".
Smell: Light light yeast, a feel of hops but still satisfying.
Taste: This taste is every where almost marzen like with it's cream feel. You feel the yeast in the taste, improving more and more as you get closer to the end.
Mouth: Not as sticky as I like but in the end really smooth, barely even taste the 8.2 abv level.
Overall: Listen for under four bucks this beer was a steal, I have paid more for much crappier Belgian style beers and this will leave you with a smile. I hope you enjoy and appreciate it as much as I have. Salud!

500ml bottle poured into a Palm tulip.
A- Pours a nice dark amber color with a thin white head. So far so good.
S- This is where it takes a bad turn. Very malty. Sugar, toffee mixed in with cheap lager. I'm also getting a metallic solvent like aroma.
T- A little better than the smell but not by much. There isn't much to the flavor other than malt and sugar. Solvent like flavor at the end. But overall pretty bland.
M- Medium carbonation and thickness, numbs lips a little.
O- A Belgian Dark Ale? Meh, I guess. Not really sure what the brewery was trying to accomplish with this one. I have another bottle which of course I will drink.
