Appearance: Pours an opaque, jet black. The head is a brown, wispy film.
Smell: Stoutish. Roasty malts with nice coffee and chocolate hints.
Taste: The high carbonation creates a tingly sensation upfront. Lightly sweet throughout. Moves into a nice dark-chocolate and coffee finish that impart a light, lingering bitterness to the finish.
Mouthfeel: High-carbonation. Light, but smooth and velvety.
Drinkability: A nice balanced stout that's very tasty.
Overall: A very nice stout, perhaps a little light for the style, but very good nonetheless.

Pours a jet black color with a frothy one finger cocoa colored head. Retention holds for awhile but then dissipates rather quickly. Caramel, nestle cocoa, and roasted malt notes. Leafy bitter hop notes round out the nose. Thick and coating mouthfeel that leaves a slight film on the palate, which the bitterness of the hops seems to dry away. Sweet nestle cocoa and caramel flavors coupled with a strong bitterness makes this a well balanced beer. The sweetness, which seems excessive at first, fades quickly. A nice drinking stout with a kick.
