2010 vintage on tap at Barcade Brooklyn.

Dark brown body, nearly opaque. Some tan head and silky brown lace up top. Too bad it smells like nail polish. Acetone++

Old ale malt base joins the dry yeast and maple barrels to create a unique profile. Boozy, roasty, spikes of sweetness, finishes dry. Not much biscuit left. Did I mention boozy?

Glad I got to try this, but I wouldn't seek it out again.

Had what might be the last hand bottle from a quarter barrel and this beer did not disappoint the crowd. It held up was the general thought. The carbonation was nearly perfect for an ale. The flavors were great, sweet syrup, chocolate and strong boozy feel. Good stuff.
