Served in a pint glass from a 12oz bottle.
Appearance is a translucent reddish orange with about a finger-width of head. Great retention and some lacing on the side of the glass.
Smell is fairly mild but distinct floral and pine notes.
Taste is really pleasant, a combination of pine and citrus from the hops, but does not overwhelm with bitterness. Great balance makes it surprisingly easy to drink, and also easy to forget the 7.2% alcohol content.
Mouthfeel was quite nice, some mild carbonation with a lingering and slightly astringent aftertaste.
Overall this is an excellent easy-drinking IPA.

look: 3.5 | smell: 4 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.75
Poured into short tumbler glasses at 50-55 degrees, and consumed over 20 marvelous minutes.
The color is of a flat, misty amber-tan with a weighty cream head that’s durable.
It has a clean, balanced nose full of the usual suspects in proper measure—spruce, grapefruit, tin, acorn, and a nice dose of gingery soil.
There's an oily-thick glyceryl body. Displays layers of taste and movement in the mouth. Jumps in with bubbly spice. Bitters charge through the center as the legs dangle off sides of the tongue. Then one grinds a mouth of edible flowers that wilt slowly into a bready resin.
Over the course of tasting, more clove is evident as it warms toward wine.
This brew glows in the gut as it does in the glass. Go get it!

poured from bottle into a pint glass
a: really nice light amber/dark honey color. light head with better than average lacing.
s: whew... that smells like beer! not a lot of complexity o the nose for me... just hop sauce...
t: wow, there's a lot going on! starts out really sweet with honey and fleshy fruit but transitions into a soft bitter peach pit that lingers for a while with some other magic going on in between... almost like a camp fire... maybe there's something wrong with my nose cause I don't see how none of these crazy flavores are coming out in the smell? nice beer!
mf: light carbonation, taste lingers for a little longer than i prefer. A feels a little thin but tastes thick (if that makes any sense). Not a bad thing... actually kind of interesting sensation.
I can see this being a frequent evening after work beer for when I only plan to have 1 or 2.
